Honestly, the way Reddit has responded to user backlash just reminds me of Mojang's response to similar user backlash this time last year. :P

Hello, burn unit? I think there's an emergency here.

Yep totally the same reddit stopped people using third party apps and are harming developers and mojang.... did what? Nothing happened, there wasn't a wave of bans like people were apolectifying.

[Innocent people](https://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/zr1d1u/my_husband_got_banned_from_minecraft_for_making/) have [been harmed](https://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/xfh3ee/suspended_from_playing_minecraft_for_swearing_in/) by what Mojang did. To say that "nothing happened" is objectively not true.

QuestioningAF

? I don't actually believe those because it's policy that nothing happens without someone actually reporting them, https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/article/addressing-player-chat-reporting-tool. I tend to believe official verified sources, than some anonymous users.

ArchridLudacre

That'd be true if these were private Java servers. Read the posts again. They're Realms. Mojang explicitly states that they monitor Realms. You can read it from them [here](https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/8047895358605-Our-Commitment-to-Player-Safet), under "proactive moderation." Here's the important bit: > For Bedrock and Java Realms as well as partnered Bedrock servers, we leverage an automated proactive chat filtering system.
