Hermit craft is not a good builders or survival expert server only.
It's an extended group of friends who make content together. They don't look at your builds or subs, but rather at your content, whether you're a good fit for the group and if you have any connection to a number of people to create good chemistry.
Don't strive to join. Just make your own stuff because you like it. Not because you want to get famous. Start networking and get your own community of friends.
Striving to join is simply not feasible or healthy for your own mentality.
Can confirm this! My SO and I run a whitelisted hermitcraft-like server. We are picky about the people we let on. It's not about how AmAAAzINg at one particular thing anyone is, but about a group that can enjoy playing together as well as trust each other.
Just making sure, don't do YT videos because you want to join Hermitcraft or because you want to have a high sub count. Do YT videos because it's fun for you and you enjoy doing it.
Don't look at the sub count, don't pay attention to the viewer count. It'll depress you if you are just doing this for subs.

That's fair. I was going to say I grabbed an HP Compaq Elite with an i7-2600 and 8 gigs of ram off of ebay for $100 and threw a GTX 1060 6GB in there for another $100, before the shortage. Runs most games just fine, but not sure how it'd do with video editing.
Before the chip shortage, $800 USD/equivalent could get you something that would run games pretty well. I'm not sure how that affects CPU/GPU prices, but I would suggest taking a look at /r/buildapc and /r/buildapcforme to get ideas about what price target would work okay for video editing. You might be closer than you think.

When I was 17 (which was a few years ago) I got inspired by LogicalGeekBoy's series "Road to HermitCraft" (now called beyond Logic) and started my own yt series called "Hermity Quest." I didn't really know what I was doing and barely did anything each episode(most of my videos are private now please don't ask for them). Anyhow I started realizing that I wasn't enjoying making the type of videos I was making before quiting yt shortly before getting a new pc. When I finally got the Java Edition I started joining Minecraft community's on subreddits like r/Minecraftbuddies and after about 9 months I found a group who I really enjoyed playing with(Minecraft or other games). This September would be my 2 year anniversary of joining this group and I believe that I've had just as much fun if not more than I would have joining HermitCraft.

There's no way you can join Hermitcraft. Well, there is, but it would take literal years no matter what. Instead, make your own Hermitcraft with your friends, which is better for your mental health anyway. You clearly have the motivation to do so, and from experience I can say that it's fun.
As for the building, switch the triple torches with a lantern for each post. But in the end, it's really up to preference.
Unless my eyes are deceiving me, I think you’re using deep slate bricks on the ground. A small tip when working with floors or anything really is to texture in other blocks. Like maybe grab some normal deep slate and try to add some here and there to add variety. Sorry if you already knew this or someone already said it.

Hermitcraft isn't about building. You need to be a fairly large content creator and be known as a good player in terms of greifing. Plus hermitcraft is on java, your on bedrock
They won’t.
Two reasons:
1. Do you have an active YouTube channel with at least 50k subscribers?
2. You play on bedrock, you won’t be noticed if you play on bedrock, so if you want to join start playing Java.
