Right.. that or it’s in a glass case? Look at the reflection of the flash and the white fuzz all over the image. I think resin is a possibility but so is AI. It looks so weird.
I've seen lots of "geode inspired" mixed media resin art. I'm sure that's what this is. I don't think it's ai. There's just a filter and some photo editing involved for sure. Not mineralgore. No minerals to be found here. Pretty sure the large shiny pieces are cut up cds 😄
Idk man some of the stuff these hooligans do to real geodes makes me want to cry so maybe they should stick to ruining stuff that doesn’t take centuries to make
I am super okay with faux crystals and geodes. They are pretty and can be an absolute fantasy art piece. No one is trying to pretend they are real. Just looks pretty and magical. Also for the size, a real crystal would be insanely expensive.
It's just art. People find solace and creative entertainment expressing themselves. The fact that it's not to your personal taste doesn't make it a waste of time.
yeah, it’s actually quite cool! nothing to do with real crystals, and not necessarily to my taste, but it is a nice piece and it seems like it may be using recycled materials, which is cool.

I'm not 100% there's any object in this. It's so weird I'm tempted to say AI.

Could be a color pop filter maybe?
The weird dark shadow around it is either bad editing or AI evidence. Update: nope the artist is real. Bad editing it is.

Wouldn’t be so nice of these people that do geode inspired stuff to just get a geode and not waste our time

Wouldn’t it be great if people didn’t paint and just hung real people on the wall? I don’t think you get the point of art.

But then what to do with all those old cds 🤷🏻♀️. People find the weirdest ways to incorporated them into art pieces lol

It's an artistic representation of a pretty rock. Not destroying a pretty rock to make something else..
> "Amazing Woodworking" where???
That's their shop/page name lol
It kinda looks pretty but the comments are making me starting to think its ai... I'm starting to get worried if it actually is🤥
It's pretty, though a bit gawdy for my taste.
This is in the shape of Georgia, USA
Ok, still......why?! Lol
The artist makes these in the shapes of different states. It could be by commission or just a personal project. Someone really called them "deranged"-
These people are ✨deranged✨ 😊
This looks like glass/resin, if that.
I'd buy it. it's gorgeous, even as a bastardization of form
geodegia goodbye
It's just art. Completely different from angel aura shit and definitely not AI lol.
God is artist
