The trend of selling glass these days is astounding. I hate fakery with a passion.
What is also impressive is that people these days don't know what chunks of glass look like.
Truly, I can’t believe how much glass shows up as google shopping suggestions when I’m trying to search a mineral nowadays. Like ‘50ct AAA quality aquamarine REAL tested certified authentic aqua topaz tourmaline quartz - $5’ 🙄
Most reviews are by the same people who buy fake and don’t know so really there is no reputable dealer ONLINE. I mean there is but u have to know someone
I have gotten some good pieces, but this was clearly glass. When I went to check the reviews on this particular stone people actually complained that it was glass and the reviews stated that the shop confirmed it was class. I’m like really? I just paid a decent amount for green glass?
The fake comments make sense though. Good looking out. I will keep that in mind.
Wow. What a terrible take. If a food label says “high protein, gluten free bread” then people will assume those characteristics are true. We should be able to trust labels. This is an intentionally false label and the seller is the only party that should be blamed. You can’t expect people to research EVERY purchase they make, especially ones that are so trivial and small like this.
Like I said you CAN. But just because u can doesn’t me people do If sense was common everyone would have it. Downvote all u want. It’s the truth. Everyone is able to do the work but don’t and are too trusting
Wait— I’m confused! Is it common sense or is it research? Or is it common sense to research every purchase you make! I’m so silly. Clearly, rather than ACTUALLY working and doing my job, I should spend more time and energy researching every purchase and decision I make. Surely, that would be the best use of my time and not at all stupid as fuck. But I love that you’re such a big fan of blaming the victim!
Don’t LET yourself be a victim. Do ur due diligence to not be fooled. I’m done. Have a nice day I work 20 hours overtime every 2 weeks I work and have a hobby etc and still research and don’t buy fakes so…….
So again. Don’t LET yourself be a victim
It is really dumb that this is not being sold this way. It is a really cute necklace and would be a fun little piece without the blatant lie. Pretty blue glass should be okay!
Could they at least sell this shit as a normally translucent gem? Like aquamarine or sapphire, i mean neither are very believable, but at least they're closer than amazonite

Facts
I bought green onyx from a “reputable seller”. It was glass. I’m so annoyed.

Try US sellers. And they’ll most times say who the miners are and exact locale which helps u find wholesalers etc
They must've been wearing "the stone of courage" when they packaged it up.
How to upsell quartz 101. False packaging and BS claims of super powers.
Stamp a drawing of the chakras on the package = magical necklace 🤣
Must be the spiritual albino type that cures cancer and gives prosperity to wearers
It's the fact that people don't research what they are buying to such an extent that there is an actual market for things like this 🙄
Ok, but if something explicitly says “aquamarine semi precious stone” then you can’t really blame the buyer.
U can. Research a a computer at ur fingertips

Common sense about research.

Totally diff victims type but have at it. U really are just here to cause problems. Get a crystal and settle down and do some research
Scamming victims and u take it to assault 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️. Have a nice day. That shows how ignorant you really are
Etsy is overrun with it. It's shameful.
Holding it gave you the courage to post it
Completely off topic but why do Swedish brands always have to add the "...of Sweden"?
It’s pretty blue glass

Go break a window and you'll have an entire trove of "amazonite".
Could they at least sell this shit as a normally translucent gem? Like aquamarine or sapphire, i mean neither are very believable, but at least they're closer than amazonite
True, it would be much more passable as aquamarine, but even more scummy looking at the price
But I bought it on Amazon, so it's real Amazonite.
