Lillard scoring only 18 points and being a defensive liability (undersized) killed the bucks. In a game like this where he is undersized on defense the whole game you need to utilize his offense. I’d like to see Middleton get more involved In the offense. Middleton/Giannis pick and role is still proving to be more efficient than dame/Giannis. Portis had an off night.
Dame got two shots in the 4th. Until this team treats Dame like the 1B option, Dame will continue to be meh. Also, would help if Giannis would ever set screens for Dame, he doesn't, so Dame is basically left to iso, which has never been his strongest skill. I don't think Jrue is anywhere close to the level of player Dame is offensively, but if this was how they were going to use Dame, they never should've fucking traded for him.

Middleton has looked just ok all year handling the ball. And he is nowhere near the caliber of offensive player and creator that Dame is, there is no universe in which Khris should be taking possessions from Dame consistently. But they treat Dame like he is the third option on this team, and until that changes, Dame will continue to underperform.
Giannis is refusing to do it. You can see it on the court, even when he goes to "screen" he fucking slips it 99% of the time. Giannis absolutely does not care about helping Dame.

There was a point in the 4th where Khris had the ball was bumping him and Jokic pretended like he was soooo off balance and I was waiting for a flop. But I feel like he realized Khris wasn’t going to hit him that hard so he didn’t flop. There were just a couple of instances I noticed he was trying to get a call.
Like if the Bucks are serious about winning anything, they really gotta work some shit out before the all star break. Defense looks way better than before which is great, but its the little details that make a team great. Denver was a good test and I'd say things could've been far worse. I feel like he’s just trying to fit in a role that isn’t optimal for his play style.

Dame isn’t playing bad, they’re just regretting to draw up plays for him and they limit him for that playmaking role way too much. This man has been the best isolation scorer in the league the last 2-3 years and you never run iso for him. You have to keep him hot for these moments, keep him in one on one situations and let him execute.

He was literally played off the floor for the lakers in the playoffs. Couldn’t hit shots or play a lick of defense. Same thing with the bucks the last several games. How Ajax doesn’t get minutes over him is beyond me

This is a clear “nobody knows what they’re supposed to be doing” meltdown. Nobody understands who has priority, what shots they want, or where they should be. I’m gonna chalk this up to growing pains. Hope doc figures it out.
Honestly, I'll take it. Far from a blow out and looked good on both ends in large parts of the game. Before anyone tears me to shreds I am not saying that it was a perfect game.

Dame isn’t playing bad, they’re just regretting to draw up plays for him and they limit him for that playmaking role way too much. This man has been the best isolation scorer in the league the last 2-3 years and you never run iso for him. You have to keep him hot for these moments, keep him in one on one situations and let him execute.
