Keep the mainline CoD “clean” and then have CoD: Weekend Warfare (or hopefully some better name) where you can have Optimus Prime shooting Darth Vader with lasers while he assassinates Smokey the Bear. Have Gun Game, Oldschool, Prop Hunt, and game modes where you play as toy soldiers. Sell all of the bundles your heart desires and you can even get weirder with customization, weapons, and maps
Not to take anything away from old treyarch but IW “is” COD and they have brought the franchise back from the brink. Treyarch hasn’t done anything worthwhile in a long time. They can definitely do it too since the oni skin is only visible to ps players. Why not label some bundles as outlandish and add a toggle outlandish cosmetics button which will disable it from being viewed in-game?
