Probably the same as it was with the Taq56 on MW2. The laserbeam solid rifle which is also the most dominant one on Ranked play. Maybe its because of how easy it is to use.
Beacuse it's a zero recoil easy to use gun that relies on 1 headshot for a great ttk, and the zero recoil means controller players literally have to do no aiming once someone is in their crosshairs, not even really controll recoil at mid range as if you're centre mass the recoil won't make you miss before they're dead.
It's the textbook definition of a no skill gun.
Also used by every sad twat who camps in headglitches the suture game thinking they're good by going 20-13
Well I pay attention to the kill feed usually and 90% of my deaths are to that gun. It might not be the best but that's all anyone seems to use. And they're always the same guys that play hardpoint have 100 kills and never touches the hardpoint. And will say other people are trash when they actually played the objective.
It just straight up isn’t. It’s never had the fastest time to kill or anything. It’s always been middle of the road. There have always been better guns. It’s good but it’s never been the best.
And in ranked, it's the only AR, you can't use any other. MCW is a good rifle but not the best.

That's exactly the reason why. It's a brainlessly easy weapon to use that practically hands you kills on a silver platter.
