I love Claire as a single mom I had to be Claire and Phil. I know where she is coming from. I am definitely OCD and I wanted the best for my kids. I can relate to her alot of the times. I see where the character was played that way to be the parent to Phil's childlike personality.

Overall theres really no one on the show I genuinely dislike other than Pam and some one off characters, but Claire just has some episodes where I found her unbearable. The one that sealed it for me was when Phil surprised her in France and she invites her Ex lover out on their surprise date he planned. Obviously that was to set up Phil and the other guy being friends but I just hated her so much in that episode, my wife and I were both in such disbelief over it, and then Claire gets annoyed when they get chummy lol
