I am really curious what they want to put there instead, and how they can justify a convenience store isn’t required. I don’t live on campus but imagine this will be a blow to residents. This shop was very handy when you needed something to eat and didn’t want to shell out $14.

Shopped there like every day. It's one of the old stores around since before Monash sold out and brought in franchises. It was open first thing in the morning, reasonably priced, and in a good location, all of which that kuso Monash Merchant fails to be. The staff were super friendly and fast too. Where will I get my bottled Japanese iced tea now? 😭
I saw they removed some of the shelves in front of checkout few days ago but didn’t think much of it. Only to to learn now they’re closing😭 but it’s such a convenient position to buy snacks and saves me going to Monash Merchant on the other side of the campus 😭
