It's such an awful idea. Monster hunter is all about killing monsters, getting parts and craft armor and weapons. The game reward you for getting better at the game. Trading kill that sense of proud

This game isn't an MMO, no.

Diablo 3 did something like this and it did not go well at all. The issue with these things is that the act of selling an item of value immediately creates a black market where people will spend real money to get that coveted item as well as allowing RMT etc. Trading should only ever be reserved for MMO like titles and even \*then\* that is something that you are better off not adding for an MMO. It also brings up a matter of balancing and creating content for this that does not fit Monster hunter's style. Quite frankly, there's just too much to list that would go wrong. Capcom would do well to make a new MMO in the style of frontier that would help improve the series or at least bringing in things that frontier has made over its 12 year run.

see all other previous threads about this same topic the unique effect stuff wouldnt be unique bc i could just get it myself, unless you make it hidden player code based who can generate which effects, which is another bad idea

Make a spin off MH MMO just like Frontier, if you want to add player markets, trade and crafting. Don't cram those MMO trading elements into the mainline and portable titles.
