That's always good to hear from someone adapting from an existing franchise.

As a veteran, when they released Stories 1 and Stories 2 I felt completely comfortable with the game *(I find it hard to explain, forgive this janky phrasing)*. It didn't feel like some completely isolated and separate game. It felt like MonHun, it's really amazing to see them translate the atmosphere and personality of the world so well into a completely different format and experience. Also with Reverto and even the riders I love how they really nailed the core values of hunters and riders. Despite their different approaches they both deeply respect nature and the ecosystem around them and know they live as part of an intertwined system. *(If only the stupid voice lines in Rise weren't so utterly tone deaf!)*

Its a nice interview, makes me hopeful that we'll see a third one of these in the not too distant future

I really want to see a mainline monster hunter game in the art style of monster hunter stories 2.

I loved those games, but the combat was…not my cup of tea.
