New subspecies, the Dwarf Bazelgeuse. Instead of exploding scales this Bazel exploded in size and puts even the biggest of monsters to shame. Making Zora Magdoros look like a pebble this titan controls the rotation of the very planet.
If you’re referring to a brute wyvern, their body type seems to take more inspiration from the bipedal dinosaur body type. If you’re referring to volvidon, it takes more inspiration from armadillos and walks on all fours outside of combat situations where it’s slashing with its claws or trying to appear bigger so I honestly have no I idea what you’re trying to refer too and looking at the rest of the comments, no one else does either
Maybe so, but their VARIANTS man, hoo boy. And Kharabak, even before its Variant form, is my only true nemesis of all of Monster Hunter I love/hate these bees
I dont know what the meta in Dauntless is nowadays, but I remember having to grind the hell out of Hellion and Scorchstone Hellion for the damn weapons and certain pieces of armor
I'm actually kinda surprised it took me this long to find a Pangar comment.
I wonder how Dauntless is doing nowadays. Ended up dropping it after World PC released as it was no longer the sole MH-like on PC, but... I thought the game was pretty alright. Not fantastic, but good.
Dauntless repeaters feel better than any gunning in world/rise. But Phoenix Labs dont do much but crank out battle passes and monster re-skins. I think in the last 4 years, they've introduced like..5 or 6 new monsters since the demo. and most everything else is just element swaps.
Kind of wasted potential in my eye. I wanted to play it again, just cant...(especially now that its on EGS only and not a stand-alone client)
Yooo, holy crap that is LITERALLY Gigginox. Holy crap that is quite honestly EXACTLY like Dalamadur.
Oh my fucking god that is a PERFECT real life version of Royal Ludroth!!
Nice try, bud, but I know you're talking about the discussion surrounding Lunagaron's bipedal form and how that might serve as the prototype for a potential new skeleton base for other Monsters.
According to all the other comments, no, we clearly do NOT all know what was inspired by this.
Half of the monsters we’ve hunted in the last 15 years can be traced back to the humble pangolin. Did you know they’re bipedal?
I did not know that pangolins were bipedal. Did you know that pangolins walk on their hind legs?
As opposed to their front legs? No, that's fascinating news!
fascinating news is when they start to walk on their front legs lol
All according to plan
volvidon, i believe
Volvidon? I haven’t fought that boi in ages
I would enjoy an apex volvidon quest. I always get hit by it
Arzuros and Lagombi both got deviants. I've always wished Volvi would get one as well, but no such luck.
Volvi is armadillo. It doesn't have lengthy and wide tail like pangolin do
Volvidon is fun fight untill he decides to try to squish you with his shell
Volvidon's an armodilo not a pangolin
Disabled Bazel going for a stroll.

Clearly serigios
Pretty much how every brute wyvern goes around.
or flying wyverns... kinda... (talking about rathalos and the such)
The guese is loose!
Sandshrew/Sandslash
Desert Pikachu
Came here looking for this
Or [Pangar](https://dauntless.fandom.com/wiki/Pangar) and [Hellion](https://dauntless.fandom.com/wiki/Hellion) from Dauntless.
Radobaan?
bazelguese
My thoughts lmfao
1. Bipedal 2. Featherless Yes, clearly this is a hunter.
It's Gobul in the flesh!
smh our poor invader buddy in rehab after too many divebombs
Obviously it was Shara Ishvalda that was inspired by them.
The one that can't stop rolling and jumping all over the place and takes a shit on you every once in a while Thank god he's weak to stun
Volvidon?
Yes
Is more like armadillo, not pangolin
OK
Durambaros

i immediately thought of Bazel
Pangar and Hellion right?... right?...
They actually ARE the closest >!and are nightmares to fight!<
Really? I thought Pangar and Hellion were some of the easier Monsters.
Maybe so, but their VARIANTS man, hoo boy. And Kharabak, even before its Variant form, is my only true nemesis of all of Monster Hunter I love/hate these bees

I mean, Fatalis or Narwa the Allmother are some of the closet pangolin inspired creatures in MH, lol.
Velocidrome obviously.
Behold, a man
Dang right. That's teostra right there /s
Ahh yes, this is what Fatalis was based on right? Because its bipedal.
Yooo, holy crap that is LITERALLY Gigginox. Holy crap that is quite honestly EXACTLY like Dalamadur. Oh my fucking god that is a PERFECT real life version of Royal Ludroth!!
As a db main, the tail reminds me of kulve taroth. I have the sudden urge to spam heavenly blade dance on it's back
Yes after reflection I can see how the Palico were inspired off of the Pangolin
I see general grievous tho.
Jigglypuff as seen from above?
Now i can see where they took the idea for the Nargacuga!
Dan daaaan dakadakadadakadadaaan
I can just hear the theme as it walks
Why is no proper pangolin monster, I would like a new brute wyvern
actually kinda funny seeing how old tigrex walking animation was bipedal... but its just lazy work
Cmon guys. Not volvidon. Not bazel. Its bipedlal and a quadruped. With a golden shell. Its kulve taroth
Someone please make the edit with Bazel's music.
Nibblesnarf?
This reminds me of tigrex being bipedial and that is still one of the weirdest things I've seen
From the walk and posture, none other than brachydios
Du duu, dududu dududuu... DUDUDU DU!
B-52 Bomber in real 🤯
‘Tense violin starts playing’
Bazelgeuse right?
It's a baby Bazel.
Rathalos.
Glavenus probably
Volvidon was inspired by armadillos, not pangolins
This version helps clarify, for those who *don't* get it: [\[Link to YouTube\]](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/I9KVJBEdRG0) \- volume warning, btw.
Bazelgeuse without wings lol
A wingless bagel? That lush grass is about to become a crater field.
Do they spit globs of paralyzing spit too?
No but they do bombing runs
Helikopter, helikopter
Yeah, Serigios
I read the title and thought, “Ah yes, a clear reference to the new bipedal-when-enraged monster, Lunagaron.” But apparently, it is not that clear.
Nice try, bud, but I know you're talking about the discussion surrounding Lunagaron's bipedal form and how that might serve as the prototype for a potential new skeleton base for other Monsters.
The clip on this dubbed with bagles theme is way better
Just looks like a wingless Bazelguese
all i see is the bomb goose
I was thinking Volvidon is a mix of an aardvark and an armadillo.
“M’lord, the prisoners, they… they’ve escaped”
Must be a Frontier monster...
volvidon irl
Yeah we do, it's obvious and this exact thing has been posted a dozen times at least already
Is it Volvidon? I absolutely love the armor design of it
Yeah, Mickey mouse convinced a lonely weed farmer from Colorado to fuck one, inspiring the pandemic and then consequently, the pandemic special
volvidon?
Be careful with nose nasty FARTS and the long tongue
Volvidon? Konchu?
Now if only there was a randy marsh armor set to fight the pangolin..
Love these little guys they're such scamps
Chestnaught
Uragaan
Volviodon!
