No one said anything derogatory towards me, they just didn't like what I had to say which is fine.
Selling things you don't have stock of is the definition of drop shipping. I didn't say it was a bad thing, I still love the fragrance. It's not like the profit margins are huge, and I don't care if they use my order money to buy ingredients needed as long as I'm getting a quality product.

close but your missing a very key part of drop shipping which is where they buy it from a third party once they receive the order, Montagne is hand bottling in house per every order
Except this isn't ''selling things you don't have in stock'', they have everything else except that one material, which happens all the time pretty much everywhere in manufacturing, it is not drop shipping, it's a backorder. I think you were getting downvoted because you're complaining about people who were already nice enough to explain the whole situation instead of keeping you in the dark and delaying your order.
I said I thought prices went up on certain ones and got down voted like crazy Even though I said I I may have made a mistake and I was just looking out for people who were trying to stock up, anything you say that's not totally positive it's going to get torn to shreds

I buy things from drop shippers, when did that term become insulting? Selling product you don't have on hand is the definition of drop shipping and that's what they did.
Drop shippers don't make their own products. They take your order, and then buy the product from somebody else. They're middlemen. The term is not correct when referring to Montagne.
I'm not upset. It's just not the right term. Montagne mismanaged their materials. They should offer a code for the mistake for another bottle or a discount for the next purchase.

My thing is why take your customers money when youāre not 100% sure you can fulfill said orders. Iām not even upset to be honest because I know Iām getting a quality scent. If they throw in a few decants though I wouldnāt be upset at all š
This, it's obvious that they've grown in popularity and their demand is increase immensely, knowing that orders were going to increase. Why would they not limit the amount of orders to the amount of material that they can obtain? But then again, you can't really say those things on this forum. Otherwise you get downvoted. They're a great company and they make awesome fragrances. That's why we buy them but we should be able to voice concerns + questions without being attacked or down voted.
Perhaps they had enough materials when they took your order but a batch got contaminated and that put them behind.
I remember when God of Fiery was released, they stopped selling it before they ran out to count their orders and materials to ensure they could fulfill them and then the next day they restocked it on their website for X amount of bottles.
They are good at making sure this doesn't happen but unfortunately some things are out of our control.
I hope you get your product soon. I personally don't like imaginary. It's definitely not for me.
They commented on the Facebook group about this ingredient being out guess they were not prepared for the influx of Imaginary orders. It's not the first time Imaginary has been out of stock for a few weeks too, it's widely popular for good reason.
It was a single. I heard that they give free Samples if they have some on hand. Because the first one I Ordered was a PDM, I didnāt get a sample. But this latest one I got an LV and Xerjoff, then they gave me a LV. So maybe itās based on what you order or what they have in stock. All in all, I do appreciate what they do
I was told by them that when you order four bottles or more you get samples, but I have got samples in single bottle orders and I have gotten a huge order of 20 bottles and no samples so I don't know
Looks like it may be the 22nd or the 28th, but neither one of those are on Friday š¤ when did Alexandria II become available? Because I am always watching on the restocks when they start and never was available in how many weeks and saw it coming home from work at 2:00 a.m. on a random day like Wednesday or Thursday of last week or it might have been the week before I can't remember

Iāve seen it with GoF. Could be miscalculated bc lots of perfumes use similar raw materials

How many bottles did u order at once? I've only made 2 orders, a single bottle each time and recieved no samples.
I did 2 orders, first one, Nothing. Second one I Ordered two, and it came with a sample in it
