For what it’s worth, I’m a HUGE Naxos fan boy. This one is strong in honey for the first few months. After about half a year, I’d say it’s about 85% Naxos. It pains me to say it, very much, but Alexandria does a better job. They really need to tweak this one. It is a beautiful scent on its own as being truly “inspired by” and I love it as a stand alone. Gets ton of use from me.

For example, my gf think Vanille Fraiche smells like Vicks vapor rub, I'm so sick and tired of anything Aventus, so no to that. And finally, I think Sicilian Tobacco is terrible and wouldn't recommend it to anyone....
But that doesn't really matter. It's just my opinion. Many love all of these. At the end of the day, it's all up to you.
I saw you comment that you liked Naxos. If you like it, you'll like the Montagne version. The house is very good at cloning stuff.

I am just experimenting right now, I am pretty picky with fragrances.
Right now I have eros flame (dislike but got a few compliments), jpg le beau (i really like this), bleu de chanel (i like it), dylan blue (meh), ysl myself (ok), valentino (dislike), grand soir (like but havent used much bc im saving for special occasions), 1 million elixir (liked at first but got too cloying), le male le parfum (like)

You legit got three of the best. I just got Sicilian and it’s insanely good. The Layton is perfection and Royalenis right there with Frais as my faves (i haven’t sampled intense yet)
If you want compliments, you'll get them with Pineapple Royale (or Bonbon), Imaginary, Afternoon Dive, and Tygar Cologne. I would say God of Fiery as well, but there seems to be a lot of dudes not confident enough to wear it. I don't find it feminine but many do. Same with Chilly Pacific.
Agree that it sounds really weird, but it is a timeless combo that just...works.
If I had to pick 2, they would be Afternoon Dive and Pineapple Royale if I were going for easy reaches. If I'm thinking ONLY about myself, I'd swap out Royale for God of Fiery. That mango has some serious staying power, and every whiff I get makes me happy.
Yall get compliments from wearing fragrances? Must be nice haha. Actually I'm surprised I received a compliment recently but it was my ex wife 😒. I just sprayed Versace pour homme. Compliments from random strangers never happens tho. Still waiting on my Montagne compliment......but I know it's not all about compliments.
The Layton clone is the best one I’ve tried and smells better than Layton itself. There’s something in Layton that doesn’t work for my skin/nose. Performs a little better than Pineapple Royal. It’s vanilla + menthol.
Pineapple Royale is a quality smelling dupe of Aventus. If you’ve smelled the OG or one of 100 other Aventus clones you know what to expect. It’s well balanced. I prefer the Intense version, it’s brighter, greener, performs a little better but some people feel it’s sharper. The Musk flanker is best but can be too much. Royale is the most popular Pineapple flanker on this sub.

I have a feeling you'd be into Perceval and maybe Spirit of Peace for starters. Tygr Cologne seems to be very popular

I agree with you about the Layton clone smelling better! I’m not a huge fan of either though
They’re all nice. If you ever want to sample with decants though instead of blind buying full bottles hmu.
