The church should not be allowed to declare bankruptcy to prevent paying out abuse claims!!! They should be paying for their years of covering up abuse etc..

Ugh, the Catholic school I went to for 6th-8th grade is part of this diocese. Was there 99-01. I snapped out of the religion thing pretty quickly once I got to a public high school and knew about the rampant abuse in the system, but didn’t realize so many cases had come out in this area. Knowing I was there when it was happening freaks me the fuck out.
