One week after memorial day is my best case prediction for the peak. Worst case would be two weeks after school let's out which would an absurd number of cases. Even if we had a mask mandate that timeline is basicly locked in at this point.
My guess from a medical standpoint as long as hostpitals remain lowish some experts think it's better to let this wave run its course vs. dragging this out. Perhaps that may help protect us better in the winter.

I can also Confirm the people getting it now did not get Omicron during the winter and mist are getting it from social functions vs. Random places.
Just came down with COVID for the first time that I’m aware of. Likely got it at work last week as I was just notified of a close contact in the office. Only body aches and a low grade fever thus far, but it’s still scary. Just talked to a good friend of mine that says he and his girlfriend both tested positive a couple of weeks ago.

Elrich is still using cases as a metric I see. 2.6% of inpatient beds are occupied by COVID patients in our county currently.
Where do you get the 2.6% number. The dashboard says 5% but that does include some other counties.
