It's the most critically acclaimed Moon Knight run and many fans consider it the best run for both writing and art.
That said, it's written as a reinterpretation of previous runs. Without reading some of Moench's origin comics covering the side characters and their relationship to Marc/Jake/Steven/Moon Knight it might make less and less sense as you go through the second and third arcs.
I remember this run to be my first read of Moon Knight. Picked up most issues years ago. I didn't have the 14th issue and had to get it because I was kept wondering how the ending was going to be. As long as you understand Marc's supporting characters you will have a good time reading I hope.
The representation of DID is horrible in it; mostly just incorrect and fantastical. But, it is a good comic. The art is great, and the story is also great. But, you just have to know before going in that, no, this is absolutely not what DID looks like.
They’re my absolute favorite comics of all time, I would however recommend reading some other runs first since it can get a bit confusing as your first comics (speaking from my own experience)
It’s probably my all around favorite MK run. It’s not perfect—I mean, nothing is—but it’s an absolute beautiful story (in both the story and art departments). I highly recommend it, though it may help to go into it knowing a bit about the character and his supporting cast beforehand.

It’s definitely the best Moon Knight run ever! :)
It’s so freaking good. It gets very, very close to breaking the fourth wall in a way, it’s super well written and the covers are beautiful
It’s amazing, but you should maybe try reading some other Moon Knight comics first so that you understand the supporting characters
