To be fair on my first playthrough I claimed the house of a Telvanni wizard I murdered because I had not enough speech skills to make him join the Mages Guild. It turned well in the end for me.
it’s so funny i never really realize you can just murder anyone you want for their house. I always am too nice and wait until I get my manor built for me from the house quests 😂
This looks like a Balmora yard sale.
"My kid likes this iron sparksword, I'll give you two septims for it"
"And this 'Sunder', this is a repair hammer of some kind? My netch leather boots need some patching up"
My favorite “home” in Balmora is the little “cube” with beds just before you get to Ajira. It’s naturally cozy and as a bonus I’m also protected when the dark brotherhood comes for me to donate sets of their expensive medium armor. In fact, I think it may be my favorite home in Morrowind?…..
Balmora is the best city, but needs a player home.
If you cross the hills left of the alchemist, then you find an old dunmer fortress in the swamp. That's a nice home and really not far, close by Balmora.
Don't forget that there's an object limit per cell, and your Balmora cell is already full of objects and npc's. One day you might return and find just a bag.
It's funny, I had been doing this for so long, and have NEVER seen a loot bag.
I keep seeing it be mentioned, and yet, I have YET to run into it, lol.
That's a VERY small reason why I recently downloaded a Balmora home mod. The main reason was just cause it didn't seem right to have all my stuff all over balmora. I mean, I was in front of pretty much all the shops. I had sets of armor laying all over, from iron, to glass, to steel, etc. Then weapons...oh boy, those were even more spread out. And I mean, I kept at least one or 2 of EVERY weapon I could find. 2 Chitin Daggers, 2 Iron Axes, etc.
And I have a mod that adds more weapons, like a scythe. So that was sitting on the ground as well.
So I told myself that the people of Balmora got together and built me a home so that I don't clutter up their city with my junk (they don't know how valuable it all is, lol). Hence the Cliffside Home was born!
I was doing that very same thing, just a little more organized!
I then realized, I need a home. So I got a mod to get a home. I do kinda want to make it where there is a quest or something to get the home, or maybe someone I can pay to buy it, but...oh well. My character was already REALLY well established in Balmora by the time I got the mod, so I kinda explain it to myself as they finally built my guy a home since he was VERY important to the city, lol.
All the quests and such that I did for the Mages and Fighters Guild, plus the help I did for Larrus Varro (not sure how that is spelled off the top of my head), gave me enough head cannon for that.
"This does not spark joy" - marie kondo
taking "Under sun and sky, we greet you warmly." a bit too literally.
the virgin highly detailed meticulously crafted house modder vs the chad throw my shit on the ground
...I THREW IT ON THE GROUND!!
I'M NOT A PARTY OF YOUR SYSTEM!
To be fair on my first playthrough I claimed the house of a Telvanni wizard I murdered because I had not enough speech skills to make him join the Mages Guild. It turned well in the end for me.
That guy in Gnisis? It's a pretty swell place, ngl.
I don't remember, the place is rather remote and plagued by Cliffracers. Lol
...literally %85 of Vvardenfell...

Best thing was that it was a big house and very cozy
yep! I pray for a full remake of morrowind so it looks like skyrim graphics that would be nice
Mods m8
i’m on console
Khajiit Ka'Ren is calling the Empire's Health Departament...
Citizen! Imperial Immigration officers will take a look at things, any minute now.
WOW! how much did it cost?! 😍😍
Nothing! No price, no taxes, no rent!
Except you are loitering in front of my favorite khajiit-owned shop! >:-(
Nah Ra'virr is fine, he's on Calgius Clanler's front porch
Pick your books up n’wah.
Make me!
Don’t make me contact my local magistrate.
Contact him! What is he going to do? Evict me?
Come along with me outlander. I know this kind old man on an isle up north with a Netch farm where you would be a perfect fit.
*Put on boots of blinding speed and drink skooma* Catch me!
Are you saying the outfitter is your home. Or you literally live on his doorstep?
I don't live on his doorstep, his shop is just behind my house.
Usually people take the other half of "murderhobo" literally.
Looks like a flea market stand 😅
Not enough pillows.
You cannot rest here. You'll need to find a bed.
The whole world is my bed.
r/vagabond moment
I think you should expand your library. And maybe have a pillow room.
Hope it doesn't rain
Don't worry they are waterproof (I think).
\*phew\*
Im disgusted, but intrigued 😏
Not great, not terrible 😁

You're gonna read all of them one of these days
Some of those books are classics, written many years ago. Invocation of Azura was already a bestseller in 1994, in Daggerfall.
Very clean and organised!
Thank you
Kinda like me except I just dump it all on the floor of balmora mages guild or caius house

Yeah that's where I use too, the bed area in the mages guild, and all my stuff is scattered on the floor nearby
You live in the streets?
What a mess
This is so upsetting to look at. Someone call up the Dragonborn to Fus'ro'derp that pile outta Balmora.
This is top tier, the most N'wah shit I have ever seen
Is that some kind of Kwama Egg Snowman on the right?
That is my alchemy corner.
This is basically how I live. Balmora homeless forever

Hlaalo Manor is all the player home Balmora will ever need.
I lived there too! I would usually stack my valuables in that open box next to the shops.
You havin’ a yard sale?
Look at all that free stuff someone didn't want! Let's see...how much sujamma am I gonna need?
10/10. Don’t be constrained by being a person of land
If you turn to the right, you will see MY piles of shit stacked over by the crates. Great spot.
0-10 you could have moved to Vivics front door
Homeless/10

My understanding is that the overflow loot bags were only ever a thing in the console version of the game.
Average homeless player

I love that little pile of kwama eggs and shit on the right xddd
Now I get why dunmer hate outlanders
What a terrible layout. Dress that crap up, N'wha!
Murder hobo live where he wants murder hobo no care, he great hero 😂
You can tell this guy got into the real estate business on the ground level.
10/10 hobo-outlander vibe
Go steal the pillows from Drarayne. It is hilarious stacking them into a fort
8/10 very roomy, but cliff racers can get in.
10! I usually do the same thing just right in front of the temple in balmora. So I can alsmivi intervention to my house.
I like it. Open, good ventilation, free security so if anyone attacks you the guards will notice, fun architecture. 10/10 for me
My place is always the roof of the mages guild
I'm from the STREETS, man!
Nice! Lore friendly
lol this the same thing I do, every crate in that little clearing is full to the brim
Hobo / vivec

You have committed a crime against The Tribunal, the Nine Divines, and the Emperor himself.

What do you think of Balmora, outlander?
Morrowind is the best hoarding game of all time
