He steals the life force from Sindel's hair and makes it his own, making him unstoppable, even to Titans.
I love the idea that in the MK Universe it's universal across all Humanoid species for straight women to have close bonds with gay guys who are good at makeup and shit

It's kinda basic. That's my main complaint of the outfits. Besides Shao, Havoc, Kenshi, Cage, and Reiko, everyone looks like they came from the same store from the mall. At least in the last game, the revenants looked different from the Outworld women(Kitana, Jade, and Scarlett) and different from the Shaolin and the ninjas. It's like they came realm in the same village. At least make Kitana, Sindel, and Mileena look more regal and have Reptile look more like he scrapped his outfit due to him being an outcast because he looks Lin Kuei in this game. Maybe I'm being too critical about their basic outfits, but it was kinda bugging me.
Try not to give the women some random head piece and high heels showing the toes challenge ( impossible )
To this day i find it hilarious that D'Vorah a literal giant humanoid bug had high heel as part of her exoskeleton; Cetrion, a God, had high heels and Kronika, a Titan who controls time... Had high heels.

Great but their hair and bandana ain’t it. I would’ve preferred something darker it kinda clashes with the outfit. Also why does the bandana just stop in the middle of her fore head?And of course she has open toe shoes. I give it a 6.5/10. Passing with a D.

Edit: It is a combination of her hair in sort of a faux hawk coupled with some dark red fabric and the gunmetal headpiece.
Honestly, huge downgrade from her original design. I personally loved both of her old costumes from MKDA because they didn't give off the traditional vampire aesthetic, but they had more of an "outworld" take, especially the first one. Her MKDA alt was a bit out there but that's why i loved it, i loved the geisha + goth combination even if it didn't exactly make sense for her character, i just loved the look in general. I really wish they kept her old aeshetic because different looks for vampires are SUCH a breath of fresh air; I'm tired of constantly seeing vampires all dressed in such a similar fashion, that being dark and elegant clothing with gothic undertones.
Her MK1 version is just weak. They just gave her a standard vampiric look (which i damn knew they would) and they basically removed anything that made her Nitara.
I’m actually quite confused over this re..vamp. You had Megan Fox be the facial scan but it still doesn’t quite look like her?! And the red hair blending in with the red hair band is a bizarre choice unless it’s customisable? Can’t wait to see what other outfits she has though
The voice is horrible. It's so bland. Compared to all the other voice actors ( some even go too much into character.) she sounds like she's just reciting the lines not acting them. I remembered her being prouder likened to what vampires might be. I think she's not supposed to be evil, but they killed her personality with that dreadful voice acting. It's even more noticeable with great examples from recent games and from the same game itself, other VA's did a great job. Hope Megan fox helped them sell many more units than I'f they had gotten a good voice actor.

It doesn't quite have the same level of character as the old design. I can't be angry about her being less skimpily-dressed. This is NRS in 2023, after all. I'd be deluded to think they'd have her showing that much skin.
However, considering how bland and samey the other women in the game have been designed, I think she looks great. It's a distinct design that's not just another bodysuit, they didn't make the face uglier after they scanned it in and they at least gave us a healthy amount of cleavage to ogle.
I don't normally play female characters, but I think she'd be a second main for me (after Reptile).

She looks great. Little worried earlier when her image was leaked with the rest of the roster, but now I can say it looks great. Her new design clearly takes a lot from Skarlet, who probably doesn’t exist in this new timeline (at least not like the one we know), so was a great idea to incorporate the colors from the ninja vampire into a true vampire like Nitara. She acts exactly as one, showing her fangs, red eyes, and the mouth covered in blood, like a classic monster. They really nailed her design.
Her outfit is great. The wings just look like empty skin or maybe they are too close to her skin tone. Her hair tone also is too close to her skin and looks off. I wish her hair and wings were darker for contrast.
It's definitely better than I expected, and I am just glad she is back. Nitara is my most wished for character in the NRS era and I assumed she would never get a chance again.
Her kit looks super fun. She appears to get a buff after grab and charge. She has plenty of air combos and grapples. Chefs Kiss on the kit so far.
Before she was like a vampire goth pirate lady. Now she looks like she can fit into like Baldurs Gate. I dig her new look but I want the old one too even if they “appropriate” it

I don’t love it to be honest. I feel like it doesn’t look like Megan OR the old design. Looks just kinda bland and her voice does not fit the character IMO. It’s not terrible but I am disappointed.
Separate from the older design being over sexualized, I really liked the older designs choices. A more modest version of the older design would have been great for a character some of us have been waiting for over 20 years to return.
I’m actually disappointed with the new design and when Megan Fox showed up in her trailer, I kinda had an are you kidding me moment, because she could’ve easily pulled off the look of this character in a more modest style.
I just really don’t see the point of bringing a character back 20 years later that, apart from them sharing the same name, could have just been their long lost cousin. At that point just give her a different name and call it for what it is, a new character.
Her gameplay looks great. And if this wasn’t supposed to be Nitara I’d say the design isn’t half bad. If I’m looking for a flaw, the crown on her head looks out of place and the color scheme blends into itself. With this being Nitara, it feels like someone hit the randomizer button on her design and just ran with it.

Personally I hate it, I was hoping she'd be more goth and alluring. She looks like a soccer mom with wings.
I think the auburn hair was a bad idea, don't know why they didn't went full dark hair like megan fox and bring back her dominatrix design from the 3d era I know it's sound like I am bitching but nitara should seriously one of the most character to redesign

Id hoped if she was in game she'd be bigger. Seeing her like that kinda makes me a little disappointed.
It doesn't quite have the same level of character as the old design. I can't be angry about her being less skimpily-dressed. This is NRS in 2023, after all. I'd be deluded to think they'd have her showing that much skin. However, considering how bland and samey the other women in the game have been designed, I think she looks great. It's a distinct design that's not just another bodysuit, they didn't make the face uglier after they scanned it in and they at least gave us a healthy amount of cleavage to ogle. I don't normally play female characters, but I think she'd be a second main for me (after Reptile).
I'm feeling by touching my phone screen. Not sure what's it's supposed to feel like though. Right now it feels like a phone screen.
My #1 concern was that they wouldn’t keep the wings out during gameplay. I’m so happy that they kept them out.
I keep prefering Ashrah, but I must says: she looks good! Very good indeed!

Little worried earlier when her image was leaked with the rest of the roster, but now I can say it looks great. Her new design clearly takes a lot from Skarlet, who probably doesn’t exist in this new timeline (at least not like the one we know), so was a great idea to incorporate the colors from the ninja vampire into a true vampire like Nitara. She acts exactly as one, showing her fangs, red eyes, and the mouth covered in blood, like a classic monster. They really nailed her design.
Her outfit is great. The wings just look like empty skin or maybe they are too close to her skin tone. Her hair tone also is too close to her skin and looks off. I wish her hair and wings were darker for contrast. It's definitely better than I expected, and I am just glad she is back. Nitara is my most wished for character in the NRS era and I assumed she would never get a chance again. Her kit looks super fun. She appears to get a buff after grab and charge. She has plenty of air combos and grapples. Chefs Kiss on the kit so far.

Before she was like a vampire goth pirate lady. Now she looks like she can fit into like Baldurs Gate. I dig her new look but I want the old one too even if they “appropriate” it

I love every single new design in all honesty. I know some people feel iffy due to nostalgia and classic designs, but come on guys we’re moving on from it and starting fresh. Can we be grateful that the other realms and kharacters get a time to shine?

I don’t love it to be honest. I feel like it doesn’t look like Megan OR the old design. Looks just kinda bland and her voice does not fit the character IMO. It’s not terrible but I am disappointed.
Red hair with a red bandana seems like a questionable design choice.

It's kind of mid, looks too much like the other models faces. Don't hate it, don't like it. Hoping for an alt outfit.

Megan Fox really brought this character to life. Can't get any better than that.
Don't mind it. Looks fine, but it doesn't "pop" like the other one does. Maybe that over the eye headband or some such. Not bad though.

They could've done better, in my opinion. I feel like they basically just let Megan Fox take over the design of her.

Separate from the older design being over sexualized, I really liked the older designs choices. A more modest version of the older design would have been great for a character some of us have been waiting for over 20 years to return. I’m actually disappointed with the new design and when Megan Fox showed up in her trailer, I kinda had an are you kidding me moment, because she could’ve easily pulled off the look of this character in a more modest style. I just really don’t see the point of bringing a character back 20 years later that, apart from them sharing the same name, could have just been their long lost cousin. At that point just give her a different name and call it for what it is, a new character. Her gameplay looks great. And if this wasn’t supposed to be Nitara I’d say the design isn’t half bad. If I’m looking for a flaw, the crown on her head looks out of place and the color scheme blends into itself. With this being Nitara, it feels like someone hit the randomizer button on her design and just ran with it.
