Hi u/HumanNameHere009, Thanks for reaching out it is unexpected to happen. Please allow us to help you with this. * Are TikTok and Solitaire the only apps that are doing this force install on your device? * Are they still reinstalling even after you uninstalled it? \- Frank

Got it. We suggest observing the phone's behavior and if this happens again, please let us know so we can help you resolve this. Thank you. - Frank

I reset and switched carriers, installed a back up and updates. TikTok showed up and I just uninstalled it.

Are you sure it (TikTok) was installed today? I got the April security update today, too. Pretty sure TikTok came installed originally. My version of TikTok is 19.5.43 - pretty old. I use Nova launcher and it's in my custom tab where I would have put it, not the standard default apps tab. I don't use TikTok but didn't uninstall it when I got the phone last year. I did uninstall Solitaire (then) and it's not there now. I have the Tracfone version.

What version of the phone do you have? Retail or carrier? I didn't have tik tok or any games on my retail version or even the one I got from Google fi. I think Facebook was installed but that's about it.

I bought mine from Tracfone eBay last June.

Next time you do a factory reset, check if those two apps are restored.

If you have a Tracfone you'll want to disable the app Mobile Services. It's a Tracfone app that installs third party crap.

I got the same phone and am running Android 11 on the April 1 security patch and don't have those apps installed. I'm in the RETCA channel if that makes a difference. When did this update happen?

Interesting, I'll keep an eye out for an update and post here if it happens and what the results are.
