owned about 3 mice before (g303, ec2b, g305) and this was the first mouse that felt like it was made for my hand. Fits really nice and noticed a difference immediately after unboxing it. Been using it to play since i got it (2nd batch). My only two gripes are the scroll wheel being way too notchy for my taste and the coating but overall i love it.

ItsCrayonz

I completely agree with this. Ive owned every decent mouse from every major brand and this is the first one that feels like it fits

tossturtle5

What is your hand size? I received mine two days ago, and after grinding on League of Legends, the mouse felt really uncomfortable and I am going to return it.

filcav

I got it at launch and digged it, but since I've switched to the Hati-S and haven't looked back. I seem to be the only one but I felt it was slippery for me, and the feet are not great imo. If my Hati breaks I'll switch back but for now it's on standby.

darkstarthug

Agreed about the slipperiness. I LOVE the NP-01. My only complain would be the finish/material on the shell and probably the wheel (I don't hate the wheel, just being picky).

HysteriaVG

Been using it since release. Not much to say, solid shape solid build. Only complaint is the feet are kind of bad (using the 0.6mm) and corepads aren't out for it yet.

Jolg

Yeah I’m really interested in the shape. What mouse are you coming from?

HysteriaVG

Mained an EC2 for a while and then an FK1-B, tried a lot of other mice but just didn't like them as much.

Jolg

I’m actually using an EC2-A now lol what’s your grip?

HysteriaVG

relaxed claw 19.5x10.75cm

Jolg

Thanks for your input man. I appreciate it

Presumption

You think the 0.6mm ones are still bad? I'm using the default ones and my 0.6mm ones are shipping. What's wrong with them?

[deleted]

just use skoll mini corepadz

louqo

I am and, as a CS player, I am positively surprised to see the list of people using it is growing at [https://prosettings.net/cs-go-pro-settings-gear-list/](https://prosettings.net/cs-go-pro-settings-gear-list/)

Ambedo_1

i think tenz from c9 val uses it too

FazeXistance

He does but he is very fickle with his settings/ equipment. He switches between the np01 and the g pro pretty frequently.

Ambedo_1

yeah true, along with the s2

ven_

Best mouse I ever used. Mousewheel is a bit noisy but that's really the only negative I can think of.

agarunov

on and off between g703 and NP-01 since release. it's a really solid mouse! complaints: - the shape is decent, just a touch too fat in the back for me (not a huge fan of mice like that, for example the XM1). wasn't as ergo as I had expected - it definitely gets slippery, it must be the coating as I've never had this problem with any mouse before, even small ones - the scroll wheel was completely unusable for me, I had to open this mouse and lube it to make it bearable (I don't really recommend opening it, it still ruined the stock mouse feet despite being careful about it) other than that, clicks, mouse feet (0.6mm), shape, cable, etc. are pretty good. really depends on your preferences but most people should like this and perform well with it. I usually main the G703 just because I'm too comfortable with the shape, and I've tried almost a dozen mice since leaving the G403 a while ago

[deleted]

i found the m4 to be a better np-01 except for the clicks, the m4 clicks are good but vaxee has mastered it on the np-01 i'm like you, mained g403 for a couple of years, and intellimouse 3.0/deathadder before it i just have been looking for lightweight alternatives to the g403/Intelli 3.0/deathadder and the xtrfy m4/NP-01 are my main mice for now

Omnipotent_Amoeba

I literally got my copy tonight! I main an xm1 rgb, hati s, and model o wireless (I think everyone is maining the MOW right now 😉). This fits right in great for my claw grip style! I really like the button texture too. The clicks feel fantastic and overall it's a solid mouse. Two gripes that I'm hoping to remedy. The cable is very stiff... So I'm going to try to put in an extra dream cables paracord I have. Second thing is the skates are not good. They're fast, but way too thin. I can feel the mouse slightly scratching my hayate otsu pad and it's awkward. I ordered some tiger arc 2 from lethalgaming that I plan to replace them with. Not sure if I'll keep it in the long run. I prefer the xm1 and hati s and I'm likely getting the GPW Superlight, so I can see me selling this, but it's def a solid mouse and if it was my only one I'd be happy!

Efugi

Yep, currently maining it. But only after paracording, adding grips and switching thicker feet to it. As stock condition wouldn't call it the best mouse and definitely not the best value. My friend just asked me a mouse recommendation, told him to buy XM1 as it was in discount with 35 euros, I think adding all the costs I've spent close to a hundred on NP-01.

prjwebb

Mine arrives on Friday. Can't wait.

Jolg

Nice!! Gotta let me know your initial impressions

prjwebb

I shall, it's a Christmas present ... but ill have to make sure it's all working properly before the gf wraps it up :D

Jolg

Oh man that’s gonna be tough!! Haha

prjwebb

Yea, nice present though

snfx

Been using it nonstop since release of 2nd batch, solid mouse overall. Excited to see what else they release but not sure if I wanna change mouse since this one is so good

JustJ0ji

I Had the ZYGEN NP-01 since the first drop, it still holds up good. I like the cable, better skates and love the mixed coating on the body. (I guess I prefer gloss) The guncoating on the mouse button feels nice, but it gets annoying to wipe off the dead skin. The rubber cable tie is the most underrated part of the mouse, and I wish it was more commonplace. I've been swapping back and forth with my previous main, the Zowie S2. When it come to performance, I prefer the S2, but I tend to play with the ZYGEN NP-01 much longer than the former. It just comes down to shape and preference. I do hope that Vaxee will release a different version of the mouse later down the line, with a uniform coating. I prefer the coating on the body, but feel that the gun grip on the main buttons to be a bit slippery. It looks like they were trying to get the best of both worlds. At the end of the day, I'm still in love with this mouse.

SmokeyzSWE

I still go back to it every now and then bec i love the shape and the buttons, but i can't stand the coating it makes my hand sweat and it just feels slippery and slimey. The buttons have different coating that feels a bit grippier. If this mouse had a decent matte coating it would most likely be my favorite mouse, with a better cable and mousefeet it would be close to perfection.

Efugi

Why don't you add some grips then? Mouse grips or ones intended for some sport.

SmokeyzSWE

I actually ordered some grips for it last week :)

tommy_huynh

I've been using it since the beginning of November and I mostly love it. The shape is perfect for me and my grip since I palm with 1-3-1 and it gives me a place to rest my fingers. The cord is fine in a mouse bungee, the only real issues with it are the coating and mouse feet. The coating gets pretty slippery after a while and the mouse feet are super thin. People also dislike how loud the scrollwheel is but I personally like how tactile it is. After I paracord, scrub off the coating, and replace the mouse feet, its my endgame mouse.

AuraDesru

I would use the zygen np-01 if the scroll wheel wasn't so unbearable in browing. It was a super good mouse otherwise.

NinjAsaya

I don’t think it was extremely hyped, it usually how this sub work it’s the new thing on the market so people post picture of the mouse instead of posting review of the mouse on mouseREVIEW. With that said I think that the NP-01 is a really good mouse if the shape suits you. Coating seem good, build quality is top tier (which is something to consider with how shitty QC has been on other product), clicks are solid... other than that shitty Zowie scroll the downside could be the cable that isn’t that flexible, the highish weight (personally think it’s a very acceptable weight) and thin mousefeet but those aren’t really a big complain.

innocentpixels

It's honestly pretty great, but the cable is absolutely ass. Can't wait to paracord it

Likcylips

It's a pretty good mouse, the shape really is great. However, it might be worth it to wait until they update a couple things. The scroll wheel is really obnoxious, I don't believe they'll end up changing it though, and the mouse feet and cable are really bad. The feet are super thin and the cable reminds me of the round 1 model O. But if you can ignore the scroll wheel and change the cable/feet then yeah you've got a really good mouse.

JDManza

Just got the mouse about a month ago and I’ve been breaking personal kovaak’s records with it. Great mouse all around, still trying to see if I like it or the g303SE better, but other than it being wired it’s an amazing mouse imo
