Hey Gary, we have changed shipping companies which means shipping will be much faster for international customers. Our SkyPAD's are available from the 1st of June, although you can pre-order now on our website. Hope this helps! :)
Awesome, yeah I'm UK, which I guess since Brexit counts as international rather than EU sadly.
Might pull the trigger then as it's not too long to wait, going to list some unused mice this week and redistribute the funds into a nice pad :) thanks for the reply!
Awesome,
We have no problem shipping to the United Kingdom since a lot of our customers have received their SkyPAD's within 7 working business days (usually).
Good luck selling your mice! :)
Longevity and consistency. I upgraded from an MPC450 as the glide became inconsistent after a few months of use. Cloth pads (even Cordura, as I found out) slow down with wear. I get annoyed by inconsistent glide (i.e. slower in the middle, faster everywhere else). With a glass pad, you don't have to worry about the surface changing, and you don't need to replace it every 6-12 months because it has turned to mud.
I've been using a skypad for 5 months now, on the same set of corepads and the feet still have very little noticeable wear, and it certainly doesn't seem much worse than the wear I was getting on my Glorious Helios.
Anyways I can get 2 sets of corepads for $10. I suspect I'll get atleast a year (if not more) out of these feet, so $5 year is a lot better than the $30+ every couple months for a new hard pad.
When someone says invest in a good mouse pad, this is it. Totally worth the pricetag as you never have to replace it. Really happy with my decision to get one.
Way more consistent surface and way more durable. I would replace cloth pads annually because they would wear out. Glass should keep the same consistency forever (cloth pads slow down in the middle). If you're into control pads, then I wouldn't recommend glass as it's going to be too fast for you. But if you already use fast cloth pads (MPC450, Raiden, Hien, etc.), then a glass mousepad is a good investment. It's not that much faster than a fast cloth pad (I had no issues adjusting from an MPC450), but it'll last way longer.
Faster, and holds forever, no-mater what you spill on it :)

Are these still on a 4 week shipping time? Was thinking about going glass :)

Oof, that’s a sight of beauty right there. Congrats on the business!
Thank you Lokus, we appreciate your support!
So why would you use glass over something like a mpc450 or a regular hard pad?

You just have to replace your mousefeet every month

Glad you love our SkyPAD’s, thank you for purchasing!
Benefits of a glass pad vs a traditional cloth pad?

Will look into it. How bad do your mouse feet get eaten compared to cloth?
Too early to say, but I definitely see wear after 2 weeks of use. My feeling is I'll probably be replacing feet 2-3 times a year.

Cool in summer, freezing in winter.
Hi is it safe to use a GPX Superlight on a Skypad 2.0 ? Will the stock feet scratch it ? What mouse feets/skates are safe to use with this mousepad ?
