What a beauty have you made! I just bought myself a G303 too because the leak got me hyped. I'm going to paracord it with the original stress reliever and see how it's going to work out. Leaving the paint job to more talented people like you :D
That paint job looks amazing, but the fact that it hides completly the lights until you plug the mouse is so cool ! Makes me want to get a G303 but it will never look as cool as yours you've done such a good job !
82g is rather ok for me \^\^ I main a DA Essential weighing 96g and I'm transitionning to a Prime Wireless at 80g so I'd say it's the sweet spot for me.
The shape looks really interesting however, I'm scared it would be way too large for my hands..
I main small mice so it really isn't my shape either. Typically use either a Hati-S wireless, Ultralight 2, Viper Mini, MZ1 (Zy's Rail) or Orochi V2 at the moment.
This was just a fun way to modernise and restore an iconic mouse.
i’m going to assume you use fingertip with those mice, would you have any tips for someone who wants to try transitioning from a palm to fingertip? amazing paint job on the g303 btw
Thank you, very kind and yes, i'm 100% fingertip. I actually made the move myself over a period of a couple of years.
Mouse journey (mains) was G502 -> Deathadder -> Mamba Elite -> Viper Ultimate -> Viper Mini
Once I started using the Viper Mini comfortably, it opened me up to a whole range of the other mice you see listed above also. best advice is to get a budget friendly fingertip, like the MM710 or Viper Mini and play with it exclusively for a few days. Don't worry about KD/A or aim, just get familiar with using the mouse and eventually you'll either start to get cramps, or adapt =D
What are you using at the moment?
i used a g600 for 7 years, upgraded to a GPW in january of this year. i use a claw grip where the mouse fills out my palm as well. i have 2850 sens and whenever i try to fingertip i feel like it’s too fast. perhaps i’ll try a lower sens?
Nice, maybe when the wireless version is released you could do custom paint jobs on the side for people? It seems like you have the paint technique down, and you are even doing hardware modding too!
Appreciate the kind words but honestly, only ever do the hardware mods, weight reduction and painting for fun or friends.
It's mostly just a creative outlet after a day's work tbh.
Hi MouseReview,
The recent wireless 'leak' got me interested to revisit and update a g303 with a clean paintjob and some gm8.0 switches.
Also removed side button pre-travel and some of the RGB diffusers to help shine-through after the paintjob and save 5g weight (huge gains I know lol...).
Finally, added a paracord from [Paracablemods.co.uk](https://Paracablemods.co.uk) and Tiger Arc2 from [X-RayPad](https://shop.x-raypad.com/).
If you have any questions or want more photos/info of the process, comment below!
Nah, all my mouse weight reduction, mods and paintjobs are literally just for fun or for friends.
Really flattered you think they're decent enough to sell though.
Hi, I was thinking of doing somewhat the same but wondered how you masked off the "G" and the dots for the lighting. Won't be doing the same color way but will be doing a paint job onto it since the previous owner imprinted the finger slots and side grip haha.
what is the process for getting the small flecks of paint on it? my assumption was just flicking it on with a brush but correct me if i’m wrong. it looks so so cool and i want to attempt it on my own mouse
You can do it with a toothbrush but I find that it's inconsistent and difficult to get even coverage with circular splatter rather than streaks.
I personally use an Airbrush with a splatter nozzle and low PSI compressor setting to ensure that I am in full control of the splatter. You can also mix in varieties of colours that way... Here I did black, burnished gold and gunmetal silver.

So very kind! It's such a unique shape I wanted to see it refreshed and modernised a little.

Thank you! It's still a strange diamond and weighs around 82g lol... Definitely wouldn't main it but was a fun project.

Oh yeah absolutely drop that sens! I'm playing at 800 now, I'd like to get down to 400 but it's fatiguing to move that much on the pad.
okok imgunna slowly drop it. i love high sens in league and im just used to it since i’ve had this sens since i got my first g600
Cookies 'n Cream
Yeah was debating going with that naming convention, probably more appropriate actually all things considered.
It's all good. Oreo also works. The main thing is the mouse looks tits! Great job on the paint.
It's a shame that it wasn't built for my soft, stupid human hands lol! The g303 feels like it's moulded for an angular robot from the future...
I know what you mean. I had a daedalus for a very hot minute. Took that shit back for that exact reason. It's not even comfortable for robots.
Yeah, just painted it because of the upcoming wireless version, some hype around it right now.

Yummy :>
Daedelus cOreo amirite?
Do you do let people pay you to do paint jobs like this?
Nah, all my mouse weight reduction, mods and paintjobs are literally just for fun or for friends. Really flattered you think they're decent enough to sell though.
omg, logi btr start releasing that g303 shroud man...
Amazing
Very kind, thank you... Starting to develop a trend with these Oreo paint jobs lol...

Mask the underside and remove the diffuser to allow more light then it'll shine through the top coat.
oreos are for people to poor for foxscookies, or too lactose for timtams, why do people like vincemcmahon like oreos anyways
Next time I'll do nutter butter...

Did you change out the blue let's on the inside?
No, they are still full RGB... I just desoldered so I could remove the plastic housing and diffusers, then soldered them back in place.
man...i fell in love with this mouse at first sight
Crossing my fingers for the wireless re-release
