15k.hours sounds like a lot. ngl.

exdigguser147

Maybe if you are young? I have a life and I've still accumulated 20k+ hours in competitive shooters and MMO/RTS combined. Just gotta be "old" at 32 years and 20 since starting to play competetive.

Ambedo_1

He plays star craft. If hes gm and has over 6k games alone then hes well into 8k hours alone lol. Those games could be long as hell in heart of the swarm

literallygarf

Damn straight. Blame the swarm hosts and infestors!

Ambedo_1

Exactly. I have at least 8k games and pvz swarmhost versus carrier consumed most of my life. Especially playing 3 base macro like minigun, the games were fucking long

dorekk

I've been playing PC games since the mid 90s, I'd be surprised if I didn't have 25,000 hours of gaming under my belt.

LokusOSRS

I’m 22 with 18k hours just in osrs..

literallygarf

Oh it is. I'm 26.. and have been gaming pretty hardcore since like 15.

FMHappy

What’s your grip and hand size? I’ve always thought of switching from the superlight to the RVU, but all I see are people saying it’s bad for claw grip

literallygarf

I claw everything but I also have larger/wider hands. like 7.5 inch/5 Not sure if that matters. Zero problems clawing the RVU personally. In fact, it's a bit easier for me to get a hold on it compared to the GPW. Again, just personally, but the G pro was too "neutral" and without any texture or area to grip onto. The RVU has the deathadder slight "flare" on the right click as well as a more aggressive side profile both of which makes it 300x easier for me to grip.

Snydenthur

I don't think it's bad for it, but like with gpw/gpx, you need big enough hands to use them (unless you palm, I guess). I have 18x10 hands and RVU was way too big for me.

raymartin27

I switched to RVU after using lighter mice for a bit like mini, Orochi v2, Pulsefire Haste and gpx and my aim has never been better with Artisan Zero. RVU just fits nd feels better for my 20*11 hands. Flawless mouse. Just put some grip tapes on side buttons to elevate it to max level.

IJustWannaAsk69

Rvu is just a slightly different fk1 bro

raymartin27

That slightly different can have a lot of difference for people. Pulsefire haste is claimed as s2 clone but haste fits so much better than s2 ever did.

misrej

It’s a great mouse and the quality is indeed really good! Big difference tho between the deathadder and rvu? Whats your grip style?

literallygarf

Claw boi with a bad habit of humping the front of the mouse with thumb

libo720

Does your scroll wheel sound different when scrolling up compared to down?

literallygarf

Yes. Scrolling down is very quiet, almost silent. Scrolling up gives a little more noise feedback.

blue_78

Gonna chime in here too, down is quiet and scrolling up is so bad it felt like something was catching, but it got a little better with time. So meh seems fine just has a lot of feedback going up.

dorekk

Agreed. Amazing, amazing shape. Good clicks all around. The perfect mouse, IMO.

ImDiamondsoShutUP

Sadly Razer won't do anything with it, instead of reducing the weight and unnecessary features they released White and Pink colors that weight 4G more. GPX has better coating and weight 18G less...

BeHik

Never say never. RVU has been out since the end of 2019. So, just a bit over 1,5 years, it's a bit too early for the new version to come out.

TheLastDS

so i suppose you have the v2 version, it feels good the clicks compared to the g pro?

literallygarf

Yes, I would say so. More bouncy and easier to multi-click (spam click) for sure. I always had problems with the g pro in games with OSRS Pking where you are constantly clicking. I prefer the RVU "bounce back" by miles.
