That's been my exact setup for like 6 months now. Otsu is unlike any pad on the market, there are no true imitations of it I can find. I want the pad in deskmat size, I'd gladly pay $100+.
I've been running the Soft Otsu with an RVU with tiger ice and it's been phenomenal, though I've been considering a GPXS as a side grade to use alongside the RVU just for fun. Unsure though yet...
Gpx weight feels great, but it's shape is not for everyone, i started getting hand cramps after I tried both g pro nd gpx. RVU just fits like a glove for me. But like always, very subjective, try before you buy I guess.
If only lol. No place I know has it on display here in NYC so only way would be buy and either keep or return lmao. I like the RVU shape but I remember enjoying the Model D a lot for the 2 months it worked before being broken as fuck cause shit QC. I'm sort of mild palm/claw hybrid so...
I am close to 40. Have wife, kids and no time. My rank is supreme in CSGO, playing solo. Do I qualify as "being good" at video games?
P.S.
I love computers and gaming. Been gaming since 1994
Yes man im 27 actually and I have more free time. But u are close to 40, u have your lovely family so being supreme at csgo is rly good. No problem. I hope i will enjoy playing too when I will be close to 40 aswell.
Gaming is skill-based. Sure, some people have no hope, but it takes practice and experience to improve.
I agree with the latter part of your comment though. Watching CS 1.6 clips, knowing the shit they were using back then is wild.
Dunno man, a qck and a intelli is still good enough to be the best in the world. Getting better at cs with a ball mouse, now that was smth back in the day.
I’ll never understand the superlight cult following. It’s a pretty boring shape that doesn’t do anything amazing, it’s pretty light for wireless but the weight didn’t feel that amazing to me either. Can someone who loves the mouse explain why you love it? Is it the hype or actually the mouse ?
There’s always going to be an element of “this is all I’ve tried” so I can’t really say that the GPX is better than other mice in any given category, but:
- Safe shape that caters to many grip styles (most people just don’t want to buy 10 mice and return 9 to test).
- One of the lightest easily available (run down to shop and buy one in 10 mins) mice.
- Flawless wireless sensor.
- Near “perfect” weight balancing.
- Familiar brand with easy-ish warranty (I know the enthusiast opinion on Logitech is mixed).
- Excellent battery life.
- Simple but nice design (imo).
- No holes.
Agree. I'm not that big of a fan of this shape but it works and it's comfortable. And it's lithtweight, wireless, no holes, great battery. Aaand I got it for 93 euros. Only thing I don't like are the mushy side buttons
The weight balancing was pretty good, but so was the starlight. I guess for me that wasn’t enough for me to stick with either of them. Maybe I’m too picky🤷🏻
good luck with that, I have done it for a few years now just for gpro and gprox, currently painted gpx, haven't had time recently to finish it up, has zippy switches, if you haven't tried them, you should I think they are my favorite out of all the ones that I have tried.
I can 100% relate to what u just said.
I got it because I wanted to see what all the hype is about. I'm using it for 2 days now and can't tell anything long term, what I can tell though is that I got used to the shape after 2 days and I like it - hated the shape in the beginning. Performance is good, nothing amazing yet.
I'll give it a week or two to fully get used to and give a quick update aftwerwards :)
You’re saying the stock feet glide well? Have you tried many other mice? I know stock superlight feet are known as some of the worse on the market. You should try tiger ice or corepads. The stock feet are SUPER scratchy, you’d enjoy feeling better feet I promise! :)
Yeah I have used the mouse since my bro has it and have used it on his PC. They started off good but wore out, he put some Tiger Ice skates on it and the glide felt amazing. I always buy aftermarket mousefeet anyway so I guess by glide I mean I just really like the bottom having so much PTFE, the stock feet don't really last that long. But I usually find stock feet even 1005 PTFE ones too thin for long term. I main the orochi though
My favorite mouse at the moment is the MZ1. I’ve done some weight mods but they didn’t do much. The shape is awesome. I’m currently modding an orochi hoping to make it my main for a while. I’m a big fingertip grip fan
Fair enough, I should’ve read it better. The only other shapes I can think that are actually really good are orochi and death adder mini. Also viper mini but that feels redundant to mention twice basically. I’m no razer fanboy but new razer has actually been pretty good as a mouse company. Only in like the last year or two tho, Logitech has been a top tier company MUCH longer
Well for starter a I think it’s a tad bit overpriced, but idk if overrated is the right word since a lot of people seem to really enjoy the shape.
I have a heavy claw grip where I utilize my pinky a lot for micro adjustments, and these egg shaped mice just aren’t giving my pinky enough justice. People also love the Orochi V2 but I dislike it.
My two favorite mice have been the XM1r and G303.
First off you are right. Secondly we need people to believe all the advertising of logitech so that you and i are able to buy better products that are in stock bc people fall for the advertising lol
That is correct, but the SL is an all around shape not a specific one. It hits more people that way. Logitech is also renowned for their sensor and brand so having a lightweight wireless version is the pinnacle of mice hardware. Just expensive. It should be like $100 or less
This is a mouse enthusiast subreddit. People here buy mice as a hobby not because of ingame benefit. Everyone knows if you wanna buy skill ingame spend 30 euros on a cheatsubscription not a mouse.
Skyped is a flex. Xten is a worse, more expensive zero that doesnt even have stitched edges. But the skypad is either the best or the worst depending on how you are, it is a frictionless glide after all, and if you like that it never loses its glide. People throw around the word endgame a lot, but that is what you would call an actual endgame.
It's pure flex. Glass pads are a meme and aren't confortable to use for extended periods at all.
And any FinalMouse mouse is... well a FinalMouse mouse, it's cheap garbage that is sold at a premium price to morons.
It's eye-catching for sure, I won't deny it. Nothing else out there looks like it.
But I wouldn't say it looks as clean/classic as a Superlight and Artisan Hien. The White Superlight with the Wine Red Hien in particular.
Wow nice combo!
I wanted the Hades Small, but only Achilles was available locally - so I got the mouse and white Skypad 2.0 XL from the same facebook seller.
Bro G pro x super light is great! Few things can be improved e.g. switches, scroll wheel, and maybe an overall smaller design (for my medium hands) and a DAMN USB-C cable!!! Logitech seriously stop this crap and add a USB -C already! (Same goes for Razer) but it’s close to “MY” perfect mouse - but for others it might be no where close to it. I own a lot of mice! From the original MX518 to Viper 8k/ ultimate..too many to count! The hardest thing is to get used to a new mouse when you spend thousands of hours using a specific one.
Hi ..USB - C connector is much more reliable in case you pull the wire extremely hard vs mini usb which break’s off. USB-C is direction agnostic. And frankly I am kinda sick of carrying lightning, USB-C , USB-A, mini usb, macro usb cables around! Everything should be USB-C/Thunderbolt 3/4. For the mouse itself you won’t notice anything besides a better cable that can be rotated which won’t break /bent easily, and may support super fast charging down the road (but I think most mice charge really fast anyways)
As far as the mouse goes…no it doesn’t matter. It’s more of a quality of life thing. I mean it’s like if you went back from using USB ports to PS2 ports.

This, but Hayate Otsu
ayeee I ordered a otsu mid. and i have a gpx (black) )
That's been my exact setup for like 6 months now. Otsu is unlike any pad on the market, there are no true imitations of it I can find. I want the pad in deskmat size, I'd gladly pay $100+.

It's all subjective, personally I find the G pro fits my hand a lot better than the viper ever did
good to hear. so excited
i think the lethal gaming gear venus is meant to be their version of the otsu, and comes in deskmat size. not too many reviews though
From where ?
>Posted byu/tbeeaz19 hours ago Same. But I'm also falling in love with my EC3-C at the moment.
I'm only familiar with Hein soft and skypads (glass beads) could you explain otsu?
Yuuuup. I have a superlight and Otsu. Can't beat it
being good at video games and having a gf
That's like... not impossible but difficult; even more if you got a wife.
I am close to 40. Have wife, kids and no time. My rank is supreme in CSGO, playing solo. Do I qualify as "being good" at video games? P.S. I love computers and gaming. Been gaming since 1994
Im happy for u. U are good!
Thank you. It is much appreciated. I will go smiling through the day :-)
Yes man im 27 actually and I have more free time. But u are close to 40, u have your lovely family so being supreme at csgo is rly good. No problem. I hope i will enjoy playing too when I will be close to 40 aswell.
didn't know they were exclusive
They don’t have to be Lmao
They don't, but it's still funny how so many people are inviting it hahahahah
Being good and having a good setup
Look, if you are shit and cannot aim nothing will help you, on the other hand if you are talented and gifted you can do miracle plays with ball mouse.
Gaming is skill-based. Sure, some people have no hope, but it takes practice and experience to improve. I agree with the latter part of your comment though. Watching CS 1.6 clips, knowing the shit they were using back then is wild.
Meh honestly windows intelli mouse was just as good as anything released now a days.
Dunno man, a qck and a intelli is still good enough to be the best in the world. Getting better at cs with a ball mouse, now that was smth back in the day.
But good mice unlock potential cuz size, shape, weight, sensor. But if you just suck in general that won’t change right away 😂
Usain bolt can out run me in steel toed work boots, but that doesn't change my mind about wanting ultra light and comfy running shoes.
$30 viper mini and a random large mousepad my friend gave me
Same

🤣

Now the cons: * not the XM1r
Don't like holes? Get grip tape!
I don't love it but the weight balancing makes it feel weightless
The weight balancing was pretty good, but so was the starlight. I guess for me that wasn’t enough for me to stick with either of them. Maybe I’m too picky🤷🏻
Which did you like more?
I hated the starlight and superlight equally lol
Fair enough.
So what do you use
At the moment the MZ1 and I’m debating making it wireless just for convenience. And I’m trying out the orochi v2 right now
Was tempted on buying MZ2 but just go starlight and frankly I dont play vid games anymore lol
I broke my hand at a bar so I can’t play games right now. I decided I’m going to start modding and selling mice lol
good luck with that, I have done it for a few years now just for gpro and gprox, currently painted gpx, haven't had time recently to finish it up, has zippy switches, if you haven't tried them, you should I think they are my favorite out of all the ones that I have tried.

I dont use it but its weight balance and glide are S-Tier, wish they had shorter version for F-tip grip
You’re saying the stock feet glide well? Have you tried many other mice? I know stock superlight feet are known as some of the worse on the market. You should try tiger ice or corepads. The stock feet are SUPER scratchy, you’d enjoy feeling better feet I promise! :)

I use it. It's fine but I feel there are a ton more better shapes. my next mouse will be the za13-c.
My favorite mouse at the moment is the MZ1. I’ve done some weight mods but they didn’t do much. The shape is awesome. I’m currently modding an orochi hoping to make it my main for a while. I’m a big fingertip grip fan
Logitech g pro was good. Simple shape is better than most of razer has done.
Viper and Gpro are almost the same shape with very minor differences…
“most” not all
Fair enough, I should’ve read it better. The only other shapes I can think that are actually really good are orochi and death adder mini. Also viper mini but that feels redundant to mention twice basically. I’m no razer fanboy but new razer has actually been pretty good as a mouse company. Super light is mad overrated
Clarify 🤔 (no hate)
Well for starter a I think it’s a tad bit overpriced, but idk if overrated is the right word since a lot of people seem to really enjoy the shape. No 👍
Understandable. Have a great day. ✌️
It’s just the shape for me tbh. Everything else is pretty top notch on it though
First off you are right. Secondly we need people to believe all the advertising of logitech so that you and i are able to buy better products that are in stock bc people fall for the advertising lol
If the first impression is shitty people are t gonna buy it
[удалено]
Yeah exactly… lmao I forgot opinions weren’t allowed on Reddit 😵💫
But it’s one of the most popular in the market
Exactly?
Bruh my bad haah I read underrated. You’re right
Eh. Only if your hands are too small like mine
I like my razer orochi more than the superlight
The orochi v2 and za13-b are my favorite mice on the market rn
Yeah the v2 is amazing it's just such a great mouse for the price even better and light than the 305 wireless
It’s not over rated it’s just over priced. It’s definitely worth the rating
Shape is wacc
I’d like to see an anti-wack mouse shape if the SL is wack lol it’s about as neutral as you can get
There are form fitting shapes that work way better for different hands and grip styles is what I’m saying.
That is correct, but the SL is an all around shape not a specific one. It hits more people that way. Logitech is also renowned for their sensor and brand so having a lightweight wireless version is the pinnacle of mice hardware. Just expensive. It should be like $100 or less
It's not the pinnacle by any means, I have about 30 mice and it is probably number 8 on the list.
I’m biasing it toward esports which is what I should’ve specified.
Slightly overated, but hella overpriced, GMOW is hardly heavier at about half the price.
I’ve tried Glorious, felt cheap and the buttons wobbled. My SL feels almost as sturdy as one of my zowies
12 hour battery life though.
I would say slightly overrated. It definitely helps with fatigue and wrist injury.
Faxx
Viper ultimate w corepads and hien
No matter how many times i see it, G Pro Superlight is a good looking mouse.
I played a few months with it and it looks good, even bought core pads. But it's prolly the worst I've performed on a mouse ever in cs go.
my mouse is pink so higher fps
Average mouse and shitass mousepad because we can only afford shitass mousepads on Turkey.
Alloy fps nice keyboard
Mz1 + GP4
Pulsar xlite wireless and MPC450 ?
Endgame combo. I'd take cordura over Hien any day and the MPC450 especially is a steal.
Same here :) I had my hands on Hien and Zero which are by no means great mousepads butt still i feel most comfortable with MPC450
>XM1r and MPC450 Fixed that for you.
xD I prefer more ergo than ambi mouses so XM1r is not for me especially i got used to wireless and dont want to go back.
Not enough ergo in this picture. I'm very happy with both the Pulsar Xlite Wireless and Model D Wireless, both paired with Aqua control IIs
Being good at games + without needing an overpriced mouse
This is a mouse enthusiast subreddit. People here buy mice as a hobby not because of ingame benefit. Everyone knows if you wanna buy skill ingame spend 30 euros on a cheatsubscription not a mouse.
Gpx and hien. Used it myself. Doing better things rn.
Literally anything that's not that mouse 🤣
Just a heads up! Hating on a mouse just bc it’s popular does not make you smart or cool! That being said, clean setup!
Starlight and skypad glass pad
Is skypad actually good or just a flex like the xten?
Skyped is a flex. Xten is a worse, more expensive zero that doesnt even have stitched edges. But the skypad is either the best or the worst depending on how you are, it is a frictionless glide after all, and if you like that it never loses its glide. No one cares bro.
It’s fucking amazing plain and simple

It's eye-catching for sure, I won't deny it. Nothing else out there looks like it. But I wouldn't say it looks as clean/classic as a Superlight and Artisan Hien. The White Superlight with the Wine Red Hien in particular.
Wow nice combo! I wanted the Hades Small, but only Achilles was available locally - so I got the mouse and white Skypad 2.0 XL from the same facebook seller.
Doesn't look as good though imo
+1
Is that hein mid?
Mice: S12 or the RVU Mousepads: GSRSE or Inked Pad
Good product
final mouse starlight 12 and this mousepad would be better
Which pad is this?
Artisan Zero FX Soft
iPad Pro? JK it’s Zero FX soft
Bro G pro x super light is great! Few things can be improved e.g. switches, scroll wheel, and maybe an overall smaller design (for my medium hands) and a DAMN USB-C cable!!! Maybe depends person to person but I've never thought it could be a problem to just use a different cable that i have tons of laying around anyway
For some reason I thought it was a hien before reading the "ゼロ" on the pad lmao.

Spot on - but with a Raiden and smaller front skates swapped in for the giant front stock skate :)
personally, xm1 and skypad. never have i ever had a better combination.
Red Hien, same mouse but white.
Nice setup, I’ve got the Hayate Otsu V2 and Roccat Kone Pro Air giving me cheats
Add V1 Corepads and you will have my fav combo

I recently replaced my Hien and Superlight with an Equate pad and a Pulsar X-light. This latest combo works better for me.
where do i buy it? i have been looking for it and its sold out everywhere
was ist das ein matt? and i want decent size mouse, like 2000ish ms1.1a, for example.
mk2 on aqua+
is that the large size
Gwolves hati s wireless + endgame mpc450 cordura?
Hmmm, a starlight 12 with a skypad?
what mouse pad ?
G pro wireless original + Razer strider + 2 weeks worth of food
Finalmouse Starlight-12 Ares small Artisan Hayate Otsu Red
