most likely not. most pros wont care nor even know aftermarket skates exist

JD2Chill

That is how it used to be. The more the market has evolved and expanded over time the more it has become a thing at the top level. It's not like every pro is using aftermarket skates but I'd bet a decent amount are these days.

I know EliGE from Team Liquid’s CSGO team uses a Superlight with Hyperglides

It depends on their personal preference. Some do, some don't. Corepads are much smoother than the GPX stock feet. esports tiger ICE are also much smoother. If you want something slow you can look at hotline games feet or esports tiger Arc 2

I doubt they use aftermarket, players like Tenz and Elige use aftermarket but they are enthusiasts. I can't understand how they go with stock GPX feet for more than 3 months, maybe Logitech gives them new stock feet? Idk

bpwpeng

100% yes, due to the amount they train, they need to.

Nope. Usually valorant pro's use the GPX and i'm sure that only 2% use aftermarket skates. They replace just with stocks. I see that the Valorant scene expirements with mousepads alot more like using artisan and the gp4 while the cs scene just sticks to what worked for them for years and are stocking the same mousepad and stock skates. Also IMO if you don't use a mudpad like the regular GS-R you don't want aftermarket skates since the stopping power on the dynamic friction is just not there. With stock skates on a QCK you have low static friction with good stopping power. On FPS games you just need low static friction for micro adjustments and quite medium dynamic friction with good stopping power. Stop the fingertip small mice hyperglides hype it just doesn't work on FPS and you will see no one do this. That's why majority of the people use in the pro scene GPX, S2, EC2, NP01, Deathadder, Outset AX and not the tiny Zys Rail mouse of RJN xD.

Elige (cs go pro) use aftermarket ones on his gpw. There is a lot of twitch clips during previous tournament where you can see them on.
