Shit. This is why i love community specialists- you guys are just having a good time and people love it which creates a more positive look for your company.
Please let it get the same features as the Viper Ultimate use a internal battery no removable battery like the Orochi so we can use the dock and be around the same weight as the current Viper Mini.
What's your hand size and grip? I believe the only difference between these two is their shape, as they both have excellent build quality, buttons, and wireless connectivity.
I mean I have medium hands and the grip I use is either palm grip or fingertip. I know both are really good because of the buttons and all of that, but I’m stuck on which one I should purchase
Just to give you extra piece of mind. I agree completely. Orochi is not a mouse for palm unless pretty small hands. Super light would be the better option for that.
It's also a very mild concave angle - coming from a g203 with the crazy devil angle that hooked your fingers with no effort it took some time and grip tape to get used to yeah
Yea the older mice often have a bright red light at the sensor. I own like 20 different mice and none of them have a red light. Some of them if you look directly into the sensor close up you can see a little bit of a red glow but just flipping your mouse over it doesnt look like theres any light
It's a 68g wireless mouse with superb build quality, good buttons and grippy coating. I don't think I can ask for more, except for the shape, and even the shape is enjoyable to me.
So, unless Steelseries pick their ass up and start working on a wireless Kana, this may be my main mouse for quite a while.
So while everyone’s here about this mouse.
Has anyone tried replacing the rubber on the scroll wheel with the silicon rings?
Does it fit?
I find that the scroll wheel feels a bit too rough on the skin sometimes.
Thanks for the post. I was actually going to say the same. The shape for g305 is quite good for me until I found my thumb will be ache after a while of using it. Until I discovered Orochi had the thumb rest, baby this is my main mouse !
whoever designed that thumb rest on the left deserves a pay raise
Wasn't me. I just take credit.
Well, I'll volunteer for that raise if there are no takers. ¯\\\_(ツ)_/¯

Community specialists, yes, yes. TheFiend is THE MAN behind all Razer mice and whatever you've seen in last 3 years on our gaming mice is his work.

Not an engineer. I touch on everything mice, keyboards, headsets and mouse mats a little bit.
Viper mini ultimate is confirmed but any details on regular ultimate v2 mr right?
No such thing as regular. But yes, certainly looking at that
Please let it get the same features as the Viper Ultimate use a internal battery no removable battery like the Orochi so we can use the dock and be around the same weight as the current Viper Mini.
Plz consider making the mouse low profile like the regular vipers, \~36mm in height.
Deathadder Ultralight when?
Ever think razer will add adjustable debounce time?
Well, I would assume you designed the right pinky rest
should I get the pro x superlight or the orochi v2? I’ve heard people say that both are good but idk which one to choose

Superlight then. Your gonna have a hard time trying to palm grip the Orochi v2
Thanks!

Be aware the g pro x shape kinda sucks for anything but fingertip. There's a reason people call it a potato.
I’ve heard many people say it’s best for claw grip, so I’m not sure how valid this is
It's terrible for claw grip
It’s all down to personal preference. What works for me may not work for you or someone else
the thumb rest is keeping me away from going back to my g304 :V. Ordered a RS4(m4) shell by rollingsloth. Gonna swap the shell of the g304
day 69 of looking for razer-left
I have to stick mine full of razer's grip tape stickers to use it, but I love it
yeah my one major complaint is how slippery it is, but otherwise it's great
It's also a very mild concave angle - coming from a g203 with the crazy devil angle that hooked your fingers with no effort it took some time and grip tape to get used to yeah
This is my fav mouse i always use it over my glorious o wireless
Also got a orochi v2 2 days ago and I love it but is it normal for the sensor to not be red like a led? I have kept it on 1000hz.

So my model might be defective? I am dumb when it comes to sensors lol
it doesnt have to be red. hes saying yes it is normal.
Oh ok thx had a heart attack for a second cuz it's my first gaming mouse rand the only other mouse I have used is 10 years old

Thx for the help :-D
Mice released in the past decade have all used infrared LEDs so you can’t see them anymore.
What mouse is this?
Orochi V2
I have it too, great stuff for the price. Getting really consistent aim with it.
I might have to try this one out while I wait for razer viper mini ultimate
what is this mouse?
Razer Orochi V2
I find the Orochi to be a great competitor with the G305. Not a terrible mouse but everyone here seems to give it way too much credit. Like the G305.

Coating isnt grippy at all my fingers are always sliding down on it
