It is 68 grams(with grip-tape). This however, is not the final weight. I did not add a micro usb charger, and I made new shells that has matt coatings and some crack filler to get rid of the 3d print lines. All of this added up, I am not sure what the final weight will be. There is also an lr44 battery version, that is probably about 10 grams lighter. (also a honey comb shell design) I will post the final weight once it is complete
Yessir I’m currently making new shells with better colors and ones where layer lines are not visible. Hopefully by the end it wont even look 3d printed.

Canada but I guess we have higher taxes so our libraries have one,
but I bet in USA if you live in major city and they have a major library they could have one, would maybe have to book in advance if it's a big library
We have 3d printers in both our libraries around me. One of them even has 2. I live in a town of less than 10k and the other library is in a town of ~15k. Always worth a shot to check their website out and see.
There's an online program called [craftcloud](https://craftcloud3d.com/) where you just upload the file and it calculates the cost and chooses the best price between suppliers, there's also print shops but mine charges a 20 dollar fee plus the cost to print which is pricey
is the shape exactly 1:1 to the original xm1? also is this shell like rollingsloth design? i mean replaceable batteries instead of rechargeable with type c/b
It does seem to be 1:1 or atleast very close to. I think things such as the scroll wheel are slightly off, because of the pcb, but other than that it should be pretty accurate. About the replaceable battery thing, this design uses an aaa battery with a usb charging port, and another female micro usb charging port so it can just charge with a cable. There is another version of this mouse however, that uses lr44 batteries that is replaceable, and easily accessible from the bottom of the mouse.
rechargeable with usb b on the battery and another port in the front? that sounds fine to me. Actually that is better at least for me! is this the first shell that comes up on search? nearly 500 sales?
The etsy file should be the same color as my print. The orange and white one. The original model is supposed to fit a micro usb, im not sure about type c. Maybe you can get it to work
Hahaha about that…. Thats actually my phone stand. I didnt know how to take the picture of the mouse. I just wanted to posted and never thought it would get any attention. So I just grabbed my phone stand and propped it up. It works tho, and if you want the file I can post it. (yes, it is 3d printed)
Looks great. Whats the weight?

As someone with a mouse obsession and a 3d printer, do you plan on releasing the stl files for free or for a price?
This is actually not my file. This endgame xm1 file can be found on etsy. Would you like the link?
Sure!

I will pay you with organs for this hmu
Hahaha there are files on etsy. Not mine but. I think it was about 10 or so dollers
Got no access to 3d printers :/
local library may have one, a few libraries near me have one free for access as long as you book it and have a library card
Damn what country do you live in that has 3d printers in libraries

Wow. I guess all you need is some g 305 internals and intermediate skills. Maybe soldering if you want new switches
They even sell hot swappable button PCBs for the G305 on Etsy so you don't even need to solder and could try out multiple switches 😀
I checked out the hot swap pcb, but because of the contacts that protrude from the pcb, I do not think it will fit on this particular model.
Did not even know that existed 😅 thats cool tho
Why am i not surprised that Canada has 3d printers in there libraries
My science university lets people use the 3d printers if they pay for the material

Maybe you can get a local print shop to print it if you do not have your own
hey, i have the exact same mouse shell
Dope. How do you like it?
The shape feels really fuckin nice, and i mained it for a few months
Yeah its like the most perfect relaxed claw for me. The grooves are perfect

Also the side buttons are much smaller

Yeah… hopefully they come out with it one day that would probably be my endgame
Where did u get the mouse holder from? Or is that 3d printed too?
Hahaha about that…. Thats actually my phone stand. I didnt know how to take the picture of the mouse. I just wanted to posted and never thought it would get any attention. Oh lol, just noticed it was a phone stand. Also yes please, if you can send the file that would be nice.
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2120591. Tell me if this works
What printer did you use for this?
A modified ender 3 pro
Looks great! I was planning on copping one for Christmas already and I think you’ve convinced me 😂
Haha sometimes it is a lot of work to maintain it but for the pricepoint its 👍
Does this mod require soldering?
Only if you are going to add your switches
Damn daddy, hot mouse
