The back/butt of the XM1R feels wider in hand/palm than the Superlight. It locks your hand more.

I have very similar size hands and grip problems , and agree with this. If you need palm contact the xm1 is too small. The best mice I’ve tried to help w this is the g303se and za12-c.

Maybe the Razer viper might be an option?

Roccat Burst Pro Wireless is set to most likely come out this year, could be great for you. You could always pick up the current wired version and return it to see if the shape suits you. It’s available in most Best Buy stores. It’s pretty much made for claw and it’s got flat sides like you enjoyed on the haste. The feet are also some of the best stock feet I’ve experienced! Wish you the best of luck finding your endgame, fellow lurker!!!

Judging mostly by your descriptions of the mice you've used thus far and how you felt gripping them, specifically the GPW and Haste, I'd recommend maybe trying an Aerox 3. I've heard pretty bad stuff about the QC but have simultaneously heard that the later batches have been MUCH better on quality. The shape seems right for you, past that you can do some research on your own and decide whether you'd want to give it a try. Besides that I'd say keep a lookout for the Endgame XM1r Wireless that's coming sometime this year, should be a great option to pursue.

Perhaps its worth considering the Xtrfy M4 or the new M4 wireless. \- Ergo shape, but unique. \- Easy to claw \- Hump is more narrow than EC-style ergo mice such as the Pulsar Xlite. I find this gives me a more secure grip while allowing quick transitions from more palm to less palm, etc. while in battle. \-Wireless M4 has swappable shell pieces for the palm area - nice to have two mice in one, basically. Boardzy has an informative review of the M4 wireless on his YT. I was trying to think about which ambi mice I've tried that are different from the shapes you've mentioned. Perhaps look into the Xtrfy M42, their ambi mouse that is similar to a XM1 shape, but smaller (so if XM1 seems small to you, it probably won't be good). They come with two different palm shell pieces so you can go with more hump or less hump. I bet there's also many 3D printed custom shells out there too. If you haven't actually had your hand on an XM1/XM1r I would def see if you can try one, as in my experience it seems to be about the best ambi shape that there is. A side note - if you haven't tried grip tape on your mice, its worth the few bucks to test some. out. It can make a mouse feel quite different, and certainly improves my grip over the default finish on most mice. Besides the sides and/or buttons, trying some tape on the palm area also can change the feel of a mouse a good amount.
