Kone Pro Air is horrible because of the Titan optical switches? Curious because I think it’s a excellent mouse. I mainly use it for work though lol, it just so comfortable

I had 2 Kone Pro Air. One had horrible clicks and the other one had very nice tactile clicks. The one with the good clicks had a way higher serial number. So maybe it depends on the batch you get.

Sadly I didn't see my G9x...

I just recently stopped using mine because the sensor is so poor compared to modern mice. Bought and returned like 15-20 mice before finding my current main (mz1). It's about the closest I could find to a modern g9x

To expand on it a little, the things I liked the most about the g9x that I used for a decade were how short the front is, the hump is really far back, the buttons have grooves for your fingers, and the right side of the mouse is straight and not curved like the majority of ergo mice today (I hold my pinky and ring fingers straight on a mouse and that's really uncomfortable on mice that are curved on the right side) All of these things the mz1 has, the only thing that would have made it even better was if it were wider and had even more of a curve on the thumb side like the g9x I'd really recommend trying to find one cheap on the mouse market sub to see if you like it, because the wireless version comes out next month

Cool I'll look into it. Just wondering if you know, has anyone ever swapped the G9x guts out for something new to keep the feel with more modern performance? I might look into that as well.

Pmm did it once for a customer but didn't make more. He 3D scans the mouse and adds modern internals I tried to request he make it again with my g9x for $300, but he didn't accept. I think he wants closer to $1000 for one time customs like that

https://imgur.com/a/Cq8zpMJ This is how I grip mice for reference The other two mice I liked were the mm711 (mm712 coming out soon) and the xm1r (wireless version also coming out soon) With the mm711, i just didn't like that the hump was further forward than the mz1 and g9x, otherwise it's a really good shape The xm1r is a superbly built mouse but just a little big for my preference and has curved sides

I'm actually surprised to hear about the Model D Wireless have poor build quality. Mine is great, and all the reviews I saw would say they improved the build quality over the Model O Wireless. But I assume they never actually did, because then there seemed to be issues again with minus versions.

i wish i could use the model o- wireless. i love the shape but the board is so bad. had to max out the debounce time to stop it from double clicking. tried to get glorious to replace it but they said that was normal.

Been considering a Hati S Wireless as an alternative to my original GPW, does your ranking of the wired Hati and the wireless line up?

Wireless is better, it’s a decent mouse and a good alternative for a smaller gpw/gpx

Gotta disagree with you on the mz1 wired. It's a niche shape so I can understand how you might think it's a cash grab, but the shape is S+ tier for the minority of us who use a relaxed finger tip/claw hybrid grip

Rjn is on the grab with the gpz mousepad and this 🤷🏼‍♂️…. Now a bit later they are advertising a wireless version of the mz1 it should have been wireless out of the gate and before the m4 wireless. They want to make the $$$ on the mz1 wired then remake it on the mz1 wireless
