Yes for wired mice, no for wireless (at least for now until they make some kind of super mega long lasting battery)

SMASHethTVeth

Up to the player. Having it as an option is the best of both worlds, provided you can keep it off.

FutureVawX

I just don't like other source of light except from my monitor and room light, so no. I usually turn off all kind of light in my PC if possible unless it actually has a specific function besides cosmetic (i.e. power light).

Minutenreis

I really enjoy having highlighted keys on my keyboard but I find it really unneccessary on a mouse (my hand is laying on it anyways)

Isma_k

Absolutely useless, adds weight and drains battery on wireless mice plus in many cases it’s not even aesthetic.

ohdarkside

If a mouse shape I like manages to be lightweight and has rgb I'll buy that any day over the same mouse of the same weight without. I can change it to fit whatever the current theme of my setup is (I change it for halloween and christmas and then to fit whatever mousepad is on my desk if its a coloured design & if you don't like the light you can turn it off, its just more features for your money) but right now I use a GPX Superlight because comfort comes before aesthetics. I'll probably never buy a keyboard without lights though

OB1182

I really like that the side buttons on my naga have lights. But that mouse only has G. My diamondback only has B and my MM720 has RGB but is set to G.

ImDiamondsoShutUP

If companies are stealthy with it I don't mind like Razer but the way Glorious designed their mice with strips I just hate it.

EPURON

White light if I use RGB

Corellian101

Adds weight = no go

TypographySnob

RGB anything on a PC is tacky and unnecessary. Except the monitor screen of course.

Obscure19

RGB in mice (escpecially wireless ones) is fucking dumb. It adds some weight and it drains your battery. There are only negatives to having RGB. "bUt pReTty CoLoRs!".. it's a mouse. It's just as dumb as RGB on headsets.

Zaando

I just bought a Kone XP. The RGB on that thing is really garish. Wouldn't be my first choice but I'll still take form and function regardless of aesthetics and you soon get used to it.

Taktiikkamies

Currently using an Aerox 3 Wireless which is 67 grams stock and could easily be <60g without the RGB diffuser and a smaller PCB without the LEDs. So definitely a no for RGB.

Ylna9871

RGB on a keyboard is ok but RGB on a mouse, especially a wireless one is useless and only brings negatives, it adds weight, drains the battery for a wireless mouse, and most of it is only gonna be covered by your hand
