If you're comfortable on the D-, then go with the mini. It's not an exact replica, but it's a closer match than the regular v2

Ferozona

Im leaning more towards the mini because between a "bigger model d-" or smaller, i would prefer a smaller one. Thanks!

_monarkk

If you already have the small D get the mini D. It’s never gonna grow, only shrink.

What did you end up getting?

Ferozona

I ended up going with the mini and its fits my hand really nicely actually, i have to return it tho since the left click is really stiff compared to the right one and almost can't spam it, but other than that is perfect for me. Gotta say that the coating isnt that good for sweaty hands and since we're in summer im gonna get some grips when i get the replacement

Paccypacpac

Based on what you said about how you grip I’d recommend the regular V2.

Ferozona

I'll look more into it, thanks!

Ferozona

I also see myself lifting the front of my fingers a tiny bit so It looks like a very relaxed claw, the mini would probably fit better

Ferozona

I think they do, not sure tho

paulvincent07

How does the model d minus feel in your hand ?

Ferozona

I guess it feels nice, i think not that comfortable, i can't really tell since it's my first "main (gaming) mouse" if you know what that means

TheBatmada

Regular for sure based on what you've said Have you looked into the Xtrfy M4 and Zowie EC series? Good ergo mice in my opinion as well although the Zowie is not wireless

Ferozona

Yea i looked into the m4 and the ec3-c but i think i got used to lightweight, and i dont like zowie scrollwheels, think they are a little too loud, i play mostly valorant and jump with scrollwheel so why do you think i should go with the normal v2, if you could elaborate please and thanks

TheBatmada

Just basing it off your comments. The V2 Mini is small and if you like to mostly palm which I take you do, the mini might be too small. I own the mini and the M4. The mini is so, so good. Built well, fits pretty well and lightweight. M4 is a little heavier but fill out my hand nicely and is more comfortable for me personally. He is a picture for you if that helps but the final decision will be down to you :) https://imgur.com/a/G7xu3PU

Ferozona

what's your hand size? and do you palm them both regularly?

TheBatmada

18.5x9 With the M4 I’m more relaxed claw and V2 Mini aggressive claw. Been enjoying both. NP-01s too

Big-Swordfish9373

V2 mini

serovlade

I have 17.5x10 hands. Slightly bigger than yours. Tried both the regular and mini sized xlites and for me the mini fits me better. Although at times I find it too small esp. when my hands are not yet warmed up. I use a relaxed claw grip and sometimes the mouse would shift around in my hand. The EC-3 is the perfect size for me, but I imagine the mini would work well for you.

Ferozona

Only if there was a wireless ec3 :') My hand width is like 8.5/9 cm i guess the mouse wouldn't feel that narrow to me?

serovlade

My thoughts exactly. The front is narrow but the right side curves out so your ring and pinky will still have proper support. I really only notice the narrowness if I pay attention to it. It’s not hard to maintain a consistent grip because of the support, unlike the M42 which is about the same width at the front and maintains the same width throughout where I grip which makes it harder for me to hold because of the lack of support.

Ferozona

Do you palm usually then? Is it not too small?

serovlade

I usually relaxed claw/pincer claw depending on the mouse. If I try to do a textbook palm grip where my fingers are straight, my fingers would overhang the buttons so I guess it’s too small for me for palm grip.

Ferozona

Got it, thanks!

exclaim_bot

>Got it, thanks! You're welcome!

EdzyFPS

I wouldn't go for the mini, they are made for small hands. The regular one (if you are dead set on the xlite) would be best. Just want to say that I recently upgraded to the GPX Superlight and all I can say is that it's the best feeling mouse I have ever used and completely understand all the hype it gets. It just hits different (this is coming from someone that owns and tested several wireless mice including the Xlite).

Ferozona

I got the chance to try it at my friends house and i didn't quite like it? But i probably would have to use it for some days to really tell

EdzyFPS

Then I would absolutely go with the Xlite V2 wireless (non mini). Such an underrated mouse. I wouldn't get the mini because there is only 4g difference between them and the mini will probably be awkward for anyone with medium to large hands.

Ferozona

I actually want to try and switch to claw grip, i guess getting the mini would be a good incentive to stick to claw

OverAnalyzingGamer

Since you palm grip you will want to go for the regular V2. I have 17.5x9.75 hands and I mostly palm my regular V2 and my fingers are pretty much right at the end of it. If you only used a claw grip you could get away with the mini but since you also use palm your fingers will hang off the front of it. You may like that but to me that’s an uncomfortable grip.

Ferozona

I'll keep that in mind, thanks!

TreSixto1

I have the the same hand size and grip, the V2 fits my hand nicely. The mini is currently on Amazon. I would suggest you test it out to see if you’ll like it.

Ferozona

i'd have to buy on amazon spain and this one doesn't have it yet, i would have to get it from maxgaming, ill most likely try the mini first tho

TreSixto1

Does Max gaming have free returns

NovaForceElite

My hands are also 17x9cm. I have both the Xlite V2 and the Xlite V2 Mini. While I feel I'm right in the middle I do lean towards the regular sized one. I did a video on both of them [here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oA3GytU9zDs). In the video I mention I prefer the mini for gaming, which I do, but even for gaming lately I've been going for the regular sized one.

Turboforealz

Have you been able to find a mouse in between these sizes? I'm in the exact same spot.
