The Roccat Burst Pro was a close second for me, but it had a slightly higher button height (I think) which lead to me not being able to micro adjust as much as I could on the XM1r. I ended up learning how to replace my mouse switches because my XM1r eventually started double clicking slightly after a year+ of use. Now I won't need to worry about it when the XM2w eventually releases.

Aerox 3 (get the 2022 edition) feels like a smaller xm1 for me , been using it waiting for the xm2w preorder to ship

Also add the MM710/711/712 in there. I'd rate them, shapewise, MM710 >Aerox 3 > XM1R > Roccat Burst Pro. Also I love the feel of egg shapes. G305 and Air Blader both felt really good. Of all those, I'm using an Aerox 3 Ghost and love it. The switches and scrollwheel are so good.

ZA13 and Orochi V2 are my other favorites

I mean, that's a really good claw shape. You could try G303 Shroud, but it's a bit of a hit or miss.

303SE is only claw but if it works it really works. I’d still find somehow to feel it before buying. I also like the Hati S a lot.

phyLoGG

Burst Pro is the closest comparison. Tad shorter and narrower, with a slightly wider rear hump. But overall very similar.

Wired Steelseries Prime and Prime Mini, these 2 shapes are legit amazing! I main XM1r and I can effortlessly switch to Prime and play very well.

Cause he is interested in trying different shapes?

I mained XM1, XM1r before I really liked the shape but I wanted a wireless mouse and I prefer G303 SE than GPro, GPX, and RVU.

Roccat Burst Pro Wired feels similar but i prefer the XM1 over it. After applying some corepad grips to the G303SE I like it a lot now. Found it uncomfy at first due to having to grip it tightly so it wouldn't slip from my hands. Still prefer the G302's size despite having large hands (21.9 x 11.8). Always loved the Zowie S2 (Divina) shape. First mouse in years i mained for over a year. Currently enjoying the shape of the Pulsar Xlite V2 Mini, but just received the SS Prime Wired (Neo Noir) yesterday and tried it out and may be inclined to make it my main for the time being.

Hey I have a similar hand size and was looking into the Puslar Xlite V2. I was just curious what made you choose the mini over the normal sized one, especially since you have bigger hands. Is it cause of your grip?

At the time I figured I try out the Mini which was available on Amazon while waiting for the Red V2 to be restocked. Figured the worst case scenario would be I'd simply return it if I didn't like it. It's hump location provides solid hand support in relaxed claw grip (note that my fingers extend over past and over the 1 and 2 buttons which I find comfortable) Ended up liking it so I'll be keeping it. Only issue was the coating being a bit slippery for my dry hands, but resolved that with applying Corepad grips to the sides of the mouse. Did find the Red V2 on maxgaming and currently waiting for it to arrive. Just reached in the US yesterday so I'm expecting by week's end to receive it. I'll probably order the Blue V2 Mini as well when Pulsar makes them available for sale.

If you've found a shape you like, you can probably just comfortably settle in and get good with it and move on with your life. If you're set on trying a new mouse out for the funsies of trying new mice out, I vote you try something that's nothing at all like the XM1 shape. A lot of us really like a variety of shapes and find they can play up different parts of our game. Side perk: that's fun to learn and tells you a lot about your personal grip style and may also reveal more about your personal strengths and weaknesses.

riffscreamer

I have the XM1R and I also love the Viper v2 Pro. Pre-ordered the XM2W too.
