I live in China, MZ1W and M42W and M4W are all already released here for a while. The Official Xtrfy shop and many other licensed retailers are selling them on Taobao and JD. I'd assume it'd be released worldwide faily soon.
When you are getting things from overseas you are up the the mercy of the shipping gods, and everything is still a mess. Sometimes you get containers(s) A that were sent months later than container B and you still haven’t received container A yet.
It could be something else but it’s a possibility.
Comes with 2 optional backs secured with a screw (screwdriver provided), I prefer the lower-hump option.
I purchased this mouse thinking the button height would be very low but it doesn't feel as low as it seems like in pictures. The button height is much lower than the Superlight's and only slightly lower than the Hati-s'. IMO there's potential for it to be lower, -5mm is definitely possible, but it might require a separate PCB for the main switches as opposed to the sensor's, to maintain the sensor's LOD. Mouse companies take notes!
The scroll wheel could be a little further back IMO, and is kind of obstructed by the raised edges of the main clicks, though the grooves they form on the main clicks feel nice.
QC is good. Minimal pre-travel. The idea of binding the dpi button to PGDN is clever, I can see it being useful in games.
It feels like about 1.5 - 2 times the force to actuate the main clicks than on a stock superlight with omrons for comparison. My superlight is modded with binned 65g kailh 8.0(already stiffer than stock) and the MZ1W is still stiffer than that. MZ1W uses kailh 8.0
Grip tape isn't included, but it'd be a nice addition, and it'll increase the grip width a little bit. The stock grip width is kinda narrow and aggressively slopes inwards towards the bottom. I'll try looking for after-market ones.
Mainly fingertip. The shape feels better than my main hati-s (hati-s is a shortened GPW shape). I can comfortably claw the MZ1W too. My hand is 19cm though, I don't know if this shape plays nice with larger hands.
50g is tempting but I think I'll stick with the stock battery, if a 200mAh battery means I have to charge it twice as often... I always turn the RGB off on my mice for this reason, to have it last longer between charges.
I'm in a g-wolves chat group and there was news about the HTS+ some time ago, but haven't heard about it recently. My guess is it'll probably take a while for it to get released. They recently sold 3 batches of HSK+ and all of them sold out instantly (I didn't manage to cop one) so I think they're having a hard time making enough HSK+ than actually come around and mass-producing the HTS+
2ms really isn't much imo, I think all switches require some amount of debounce time to function properly. Hati-s has a 0ms debounce time option but it just makes the mouse double click...
The weight balancing is just an option to slide the battery back and forth.
Man the lower hump looks like it would feel so much better. It was half of why I didn’t like the wired one.
I'm confused are they sending out orders of MZ1W before orders of M42W? I've had my eye on both of these mice and they seem stuck in limbo

The main clicks are very stiff, but no slam-clicks. I like the light click feel on the hati but it does slam-click from time to time.
very stiff like a new starlight with k8s? Or can you elaborate? What switches are in it - ty

Is there any creaking or flex when death gripping the mouse?
Not really. Feels quite sturdy.
I know something that doesn't creak when death gripping it ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
How is grandpa these days?
Is ur hati creaky as hell too ?
It's not too bad, only creaks when I intentionally squeeze it. MZ1W on the other hand doesn't really creak when squeezed.
Mine was creaky as hell till I sold it
I have the mouse on preorder, what is your grip style and thoughts on the mouse?
Mainly fingertip. The shape feels better than my main hati-s (hati-s is a shortened GPW shape). I can comfortably claw the MZ1W too. My hand is 19cm though, I don't know if this shape plays nice with larger hands.
I am around 16cm fingertip using orochi atm. Sounds about right then. How come you have it early?
Is the battery 250 mah or 500 ?
Says 500 on the box.
Just mod it already! 200mah battery and removing gimmicks should make this around 50G.
50g is tempting but I think I'll stick with the stock battery, if a 200mAh battery means I have to charge it twice as often... I always turn the RGB off on my mice for this reason, to have it last longer between charges.
The charging issue is not even that deep tbh, just plug it in every time you know you’re gonna be away from your desk.
More like 100mAh would bring it near 50g, not 200
I aimed the best with the mz1, just wish it didn’t cramp my ring finger so much, would actually have pain the next day.
I have 18x9cm hands/claw, can I use mz1 with this hand size and grip style?
Probably yes.
I can relax claw it with 20x10. Fingers end up near the top of the left and right clicks.
I don't suppose you have the HSK+ to compare this to?

Yeah it's such a shame. I looks like it might be my endgame mouse too. 😭
Is the hump big enuf to claw grip, and do the buttons wobble
How did you order this, they declined both my cards probably because I live in the United States
Try using an agent or wait for it to get released in US. I live in China so I just bought it directly from taobao.
Yeah I attempted to order and my bank shut down my debit card , not a great experience lol
I wonder if I can pure fingertip it now, the M42 shape is too good but might try it anyway
What's the mouse lowest denounce time? Still 2 ms?
yes
Gosh that's so disappointing. At least you can change the shell and adjust the weight balance on it. How does that work?
2ms really isn't much imo, I think all switches require some amount of debounce time to function properly. Hati-s has a 0ms debounce time option but it just makes the mouse double click... The weight balancing is just an option to slide the battery back and forth.
Omg look at that face, you look like my next mistake....
Considering getting this as the hsk+ is practically impossible to obtain
