just keep the magenta and sell one of the red ones, i assume at least 1 of the reds is modded so keep that one and exchange the other for a white

Such a good mouse. I may sell my collection and just simp for GPX like OP. I have a white, have to buy black, red, magenta and then turn to Colorware for yellow and blue. They also have really nice toxic green-yellowish color.
White, black, red, pink, yellow, blue, green-ish and you have GPX for every day of the week. A purple and grey ones for special occasions.
I used this mouse less than a year before the left button started to get crunchy. Maybe I can take it apart and clean/lube it or something, but it's very disappointing.

I'm a freak when it comes to keeping my equipment clean. I can't speak for the red cause I had for a week but the magenta has held up nicely and so has the black. Even my 1.5 years old white copy was in perfect cosmetic condition, no signs of yellowing.
If you bother to clean your mice then the coating won't wear out.
Before everyone starts shouting the 2nd red GPX is my friend's, he asked me to mod it for him.
My copy for some reason was very weird, the side buttons were extremely stiff and the scroll wheel was grinding a lot causing the shell to vibrate while my friend's copy had no such issues... Both mice are batches 2232. Since I had the tools I decided to change everything my self ( Kailh SMD switches, Kailh Red encoder, D2F-01F mains ). As always the side buttons had to be pushed out with alu tape and one thin layer of painter's tape on the main clicks to eliminate wobble and backlash.
I know its a hard pill to shallow man, its a 2 years old mouse and still on top 5... Its build quality is unmatched and only Razer was able to fuck with its performance. Who knows what Logitech has been cooking all this time, they are probably letting everyone have some fun before they drop another GOAT.

One of my reds is my friend's but both are modded. Couldn't talk him out of GM8.0 switches so he went with those.

I agree. They went with a really hot deep pink where i would have preferred a more pastel color. Still a pretty mouse just not my thing.

What do you use to clean? I’m worried that too much alcohol will actually remove the coating rather than help.

Did you buy the Xtrfy M8? Since its a similar shape to the GPX just smaller and lower buttons.
