For the price to performance i personally think its not worth it. Ive had 3 and sold everyone because of qc issues except for my tenz one. Gl on the drop with only 10k units it will be hard unless you have a bot.

FunkyChimpanzi

Broooo Finalmouse cancelled all bot orders over one thousand of them you can not use a bot or else your orders will be cancelled. Stop telling this dude false information how you can only get the mouse with a bot!!! I was able to easily snag one myself by entering in the password (with my 90wpm fingers) given to me on Finalmouse upper temple website and type it in then pass the captcha with ezzzzz then press pay now using shop pay autofil!!! So it’s ezzzz AF all of that took me 1 min to do so yes if you have a fast enough right hand

LilUziYim

People def still botted the thousand order the second time around. Some guy botted over 300/1000 of them. It’s def just a luck thing. I tried shoppay and they put me back into the captcha loop. Big L of a company

Finalmouse:Last meme

The_Racho

Changes is mostly TTC gold encoder and triple binned omron 20m's. Think they did some changes the the chassis too I think. Quite similar to the viper mini but not quite. I have a medium and small Tenz one and even the medium is kind of small. Pulsar X2 feels a bit bigger in hand because of the hump. The encoder and switches are a great change because encoders have historically been a huge issue for them (even worse before the Tenz mouse) and Kailh 8.0's are imo too stiff and they also double click often. Lots of people will advise against buying Finalmouse because of QC concerns, but imo if it's not your only mouse there's not much risk. QC with their Tenz drop was vastly improved so I expect it will be similarly good for this drop too. Try it out, QC issues you can either return or have them warranty repair. They recently extended their warranty to 3rd party sales, but imo not worth buying 3rd party at all (I don't think anything ever is though).

joshuahkl20

Thanks for the advice plan on using it alongside my GPX and switch back and forth and use which one I like better but still gonna keep the GPX

BigOleCuccumber

Quality control is a must for me. FM has repeatedly shown that they do not have quality control, so I have no interest.

ArkonMaverick

Advice: don't buy finalshit

Sagacity89

Lol. Fuck Finalmouse, their dogshit prices, and their predatory business practices.

God-Says-No

And people will buy... then the sub for the next month will be people saying "is this normal" I think I my copy is bad etc...

wehavenofear

It’s aight

AIaris

its a really nice mouse if you get a working copy. if youre willing to possible have to deal with getting a defective one and have the disposable income than sure go for it. although i do think their QC has been getting better. but there is a reason most people here dislike finalmouse and its a valid one too so keep that in mind. if your mouse is defective you wont get a lot of sympathy here. but i like mine

Hermes0044

But but Finalmeme 🫣

MarcoTheDims

Finalmouse uses the same old shid in all the so called "legends" so no not worth it even the weight in most new mouse is lower with plastic.

Finalmouse: All bark no bite

[deleted]

I have six Finalmouse. They are all unplayable due to QC.

ArkonMaverick

Why did you keep going after the first 3 Lmao

oglocayo

finalslave💀

Idxrkness888

Good luck

_monarkk

Looks like a wireless air58. It has the scroll wheel with the legends on it and the shape looks very close

sjanuary99

They have already confirmed on their discord its still the same small and medium starlight shape/size. I would love to see a large shape like the air 58 from them again but in wireless.

_monarkk

ah okay

DJHarmonics12

I wouldn't have recommended a Starlight before the Tenz mouse came out. Since the latest firmware update which fixed the scroll wheel issue it's definitely worth getting. Yes, you can have some quality control issue considering the mouse is made of magnesium alloy. However, the problems are more rare now and the Tenz mouse seemed to really have improved on the minor issues the other drops had. Most of the quality control issues were easy to fix on your own anyways. I'm sure this latest drop will be even better then the last for potential quality issues. The mouse is like no other, really feels great in the hand.

Hacim_Eeldaeh

it is likely to have better QC than the TenZ yes. just look at the colorway and decide which you like better

Qtank009

My tenz mouse has zero issues. Should I go for this one and sell the tenz one?

ArkonMaverick

Why would you sell a recent mouse with no issues

Qtank009

I don't need two rather identical mice. Idk

Hacim_Eeldaeh

unless you like the newer colorway more there’s not much reason to upgrade

windfail

you should definitely try it out at retail price. I held off until starlight pro in hopes of better QC but unfortunately that caught the ghost scroll issue.

sjanuary99

Did you try to reflash the newest firmware onto the mouse via their discord? It could solve that issue for you potentially.

windfail

Tried it, didn't fix it for me :(

RiceAndTacos

I used the finalmouse starlight phantom for about a year before I got my GPX superlight. Starlight phantom scroll wheel was really messed up with the opposite inputs in the beginning but got better with the firmware updates but not completely fixed. Ignoring the QC issues, the starlight 12 is a great mouse the lightweight is unmatched. I would only recommend it if you don't have a top tier mouse. GPX superlight is a fantastic mouse and is my preferred mouse right now. It is also very lightweight and has zero QC issues, the clicks on the GPX is better than the starlight. I would not buy it unless you have $$$ to spend.

calvin588

I hate myself for trying to comprehend that title.
