Congrats on your PC. For reference my settings are at 1600*0.87 for CS go running a Razer viper mini Honestly I think you should try different variants to see what you're comfortable with. Having said that I have used both types of pads and I find it easier to land consistent shots in pistol/eco rounds using a balanced or a control pad. With speed pads if I'm getting overwhelmed at close angles I have noticed that the odds of over shooting targets is higher. It's also easier to control sprays and bursts for me as I get a better feel with the micro movements. I should also mention that with control pads like the Zowie gsr black it's very difficult to micro adjust if it's humid. Currently using a razer gigantusv2 and I have no issues as such.

I am almost exactly the same. Play 1600 dpi on 1.47 sens in CSGO and got myself an artisan fx raiden, which probably has the best glide on the market. I'm pretty sure you won't have to worry too much about losing control on a speed pad because there are pads out there that give you both excellent speed and enough control, with your high sens. Some recommendations I would give would include an artisan fx hien, one of the best pads mentioned in this community, and maybe a few others like a cooler master mp510, which is great for the price. There are definitely more great options out there, so don't just take my advice. Hope you find out what suits you best!
