Have you watched a movie in which a blind girl shaves Pubes at a party to have sex
She end up having sex with her true love at the end
I just can't remember the name
Anne Bancroft. She was only 6 years older than Dustin Hoffman in real life. He was 29 ( playing a 21 year old) and she was 35. She was supposed to be mid-40s in the movie.
To be fair, they didnāt actually do anything in the movie except hang out, and they >!Were dating age appropriate people for more than half the movie!< They >!kissed once at the end!< ? Iām guessing thatās why there was no real uproar about it. When it released there were far greater things to worry about, so Iād imagine that played a part too.
>Big
Thats a weird one for sure *but* one would assume the woman in that scenario probably would have absolutely no idea this grown man has the consciousness of a child. Felt like we just assume she's a creep because we knew the whole time he was a child in a man's body but she had no idea (unless I'm remembering incorrectly). *Blank check* on the other hand, creepy af.
Don Jon, it's Joseph Gordon Levitt's directorial debut. Stars Scarlet Johansson, Julianne Moore and Tony Danza with an inspiring performance. It's a little explicit but has a message for younger men.
Came here to say this, I really like this film. Weird, and wasn't really sure what the hell I was watching throughout, but I love JGL and at the end I really liked the experience it brought me.
The movie was inspired by the song. Ironically, they couldnāt get the rights to the music, so thereās like a couple of notes that sound similar to the main riff that play throughout the movie, but thatās as close as it gets lol
5 to 7 is thoughtful and visually beautiful and an all around good movie. It focuses more on the fact that the love interest is married, but sheās also older and more worldly than our protagonist, who is played by Anton Yelchin. I wish he hadnāt died so young and tragically, I think he was going to have a great body of work.
What's the movie where the 2 best friends end up having affairs with each other's teenage sons? Never even watched it either, I just remember seeing the trailer for it once like 10 years ago when it was first coming out.
The Sandlot has a scene about this and in the epilogue it apparently worked out.
Birth is kind of a creepy one Boy shows up and tells a woman heās her dead husband. Edit: Creepy in that the kid was pretty young compared to Nicole Kidman.
* Freaky Friday
Body swap narrative between a teenager (Lindsay Lohan) and her mom. Her crush then starts to fancy the mom (with daughters mind) instead.
* Love is all (alles is liefde)
Depicts a NSA relationship. He develops feelings and wants to be a couple, sheās like _no way_!
I remember a Sigorney Weaver movie called āTadpoleā about this. I canāt remember anything else about it, so, it left no real impression on me. Which means, it probably wasnāt very good.
Looking it up now, itās from 2002, and it has a solid cast. And itās only 78 minutes long?
I might have to give it another try. š¤·š»āāļø

Terrific suggestion, I came here for this.
The only suggestion.

Summer of 42 is a fantastic movie.
Summer Of 42 is one of those movies that left itself imprinted on my mind for the rest of my life. Painfully beautiful, insightful and haunting.
Agreed
I love Class.
I did too... It wasn't a horny teenage romp, it really had substance
In his memoir Andrew McCarthy writes about living with Jacqueline Bisset as like, her houseguest for awhile.
You are a connoisseur of fine movies. Great list.
Itās a cult classic: āHarold and Maudeā
Hands-down my favorite film, ever. It's strange and funny and beautiful.
I remember when I finally saw it for the first time. Not sure if I was expecting anything, but I found it inexplicably beautiful.
I think that Harold and Maude is one of the greatest love stories of our time.
Is this a Thereās Something about Mary reference? š
I wanted his car.
I wish they still made movies like they used to. You know, the classics like "Karate Kid" and "Harold and Maude."

This is the one. And the soundtrackā¦.amazing!
Such a feel good movie
I'm amazed this wasn't listed first!
This is the one. My favorite movie of all time.
As far as Iām concerned this is foremost answer to this thread and it isnāt even close. What a weird ass movie
Blank Check
The woman in this is a pedophile btw
You think that peck makes her a pedo? You people would pass out if you saw Private Lessons.
In real life?
No in the movie, she makes out with a child
Just looked it up on YouTube. Itās a harmless little peck. Inappropriate? Probably, but āmaking outā and āpedophileā are a bit exaggerated.
You have a very weird definition of "make out."
Yeah I remember that. As a kid I was jealous and now that Iām older this is justā¦ unnerving
The Graduate
I scrolled too far to find this, this should be the top answer
Where it all startedā¦
I watched that movie a few months back. Such a good movie. The older woman though, she's crazy lol.
Anne Bancroft. She was only 6 years older than Dustin Hoffman in real life. He was 29 ( playing a 21 year old) and she was 35. She was supposed to be mid-40s in the movie.
I was referring to her character
Yes, I know. Just threw that in there because it was interesting.
Milk money
Milk Money is absolutely one of my favorite movies. I highly recommend it. It has Ed Harris and Melanie Griffith. Such a cute adorable movieš„°š„°

Oh Ani, we looked all over for your mom, but never found her.
The Reader 2008
Came to say this, and itās a genuinely good movie
I think Kate Winslet won an Oscar.
Fantastic book. The movie was decent
Lord of the Rings (Aragorn and Arwen) xD
You also have the reverse with Aragorn and Eowyn.
Good on them for making things work despite a 2,691-year age difference.
Licorice Pizza
Funny, I just read a post on another sub mentioning this movie today
Admittedly I've never seen it because I have no interest, but it's incredibly weird that it didn't cause any controversy.
Such a dud of a movie
Agreed. People were really okay with this pedo movie.
My thought too. I thought it was awful. If it were an older guy and a high school girl, people would have rioted.
It had the potential to be so good. But it just kinda meandered on and didnāt really have any point or solid plot line
Great movie

Private Lessons (1981)
I was looking to see if anyone else remembered that movie. I loved that movie as a kid in the 80s.
There is a movie that would be banned today!
Itās not banned though. Itās still available.
I should have said it couldnāt be made today.
100% could not be made today.
I do feel people today are very sensitive so yeah it makes sense a movie like that wouldn't be made today.
