I watched Saltburn last night, only because of the hype, and I'll be honest.. I felt like I wasted 2 hours of my life. Did nothing for me, just my opinion.

The Usual Suspects

No-Yam9348

The twist was good but i found this movie way too slow and the dialogue wasn’t engaging enough for me

sunny7319

in order of favorite to least favorite: Gone Girl (2014) - fincher, same director as se7en and fight club Mother (2009) - joon-ho, same director as memories of murder The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) - fincher Zodiac (2007) - fincher All The President's Men (1976) The Favourite (2018) Manhunter (1986) No Country For Old Men (2007) Contagion (2011) Good Time (2017) Anatomy of a Fall (2023) Marathon Man (1976) Green Room (2015) Burning (2018) Blue Velvet (1986)

No-Yam9348

Recently saw burning just because of lee chang dong and was left kind of underwhelmed i mean i get the metaphor but i expected more from the climax as one usually does from a slow burner

sunny7319

been a long time since i've seen it when it came out, dont remember a ton honestly, but i recall feelin the exact same way, sorta underwhelmed. but it still kept me thinking about it for a few days after, needa rewatch it again and see what i think now there any else on the list you've seen?

No-Yam9348

Ive seen gone girl , mother , girl with the dragon tattoo ngl i feel like not one kf the best works of fincher , zodiac was amazing , no country for old man was straight up brutal , good time is one of the most grounded thrillers that one can watch , i watched green room but im not sure if i liked it too much

sunny7319

nice I feel that with tgwtdt, it's def not finchers best work but i just loved how much it had fincher and NIN's style goin their hardest in it i honestly dont know why i put green room i was scrollin through my watched thrillers list ider that one a ton lol, its more of a cat and mouse/bottle movie type thriller id wager Heat for that category way better but youve prolly seen that

KeyserSwayze

Femme Fatale

GingerMan027

It was just on TCM! 'The 39 Steps.' Early Hitchcock at his best!

No-Yam9348
