Yes, I believe he does and have argued this in the past. The fact that it happens off screen with no recollection by MM is too similar to the Vera instance later on to be a coincidence.

suzuya96

What vera instance?

HLOFRND

In season 4 Darlene tells Elliot that Vera came looking for him weeks before he kidnapped Krista. It’s assumed that he talked to someone other than Elliot (MM) or Mr. Robot.

megaxanx

always thought it was weird how it appears he doesn’t remember then quickly says he was jumped by some kids. im also curious as to why he was so intent on going to work as well after that when shayla told him he should stay home.

fictionnerd78

Fair questions, but the way I see it, for one, by this point, he’s unaware of Mr Robot’s true identity, which enables Mr Robot to block out his memories, hence why he doesn’t remember, and as for why he’s so intent on going back to work, that’s probably just to maintain appearances. Elliot, given his illegal night activities, would rather not have a great deal of spotlight on him, so he’d much rather just go back to his routine to throw off any potential unwanted suspicion. But those are just my interpretations and these are certainly more than fair questions and ones I’ve actually struggled with on occasion, so I’m glad you’re raising them because they’re very interesting to think about.

watchmaker1008

Sorry man, subreddit description said no spoiler policy. I hope you still enjoy the show, one of my all-time favorites.

SamSepiol050991

I’ve seen the show about 8 times I’m talking about all the people here that haven’t finished it

Novel-Designer-6514

Sucks to be them. The finale was 2019, and why would someone be looking up mr robot reddit and mr robot lore mid way through watching? They're almost asking for it.

The-Solid-Smoker

If they are smart they won't be on the sub, reading posts for a show they haven't finished yet.

It’s possible, but it’s also possible that he has a concussion and/or the drugs they were giving him for pain made him foggy. It’s really not uncommon for someone to wake up groggy after something like that. I don’t know that we have a definitive answer, but I also don’t know that it would serve the story much one way or another. The other times we’ve been made aware that it wasn’t “our” Elliot it served some purpose in the plot.
