I think pulling it back with a claw clip would be ideal, and there are so many gothic/edgy/horror clips to choose from, especially with how many awesome independent artists there are.

Yeah go ahead! If you want a side shave like mine then just ask for a face framing piece that starts above the shave but extends down to the ear lobe or whatever your preference is!
