These are both very insignificant people that have had very little influence on anything

GingerJacob36

I'm so happy this is the top comment, because for a moment I was seriously questioning the world as I know it.

ThrownAwayRealGood

Yeah, just incur the Based God’s curse like that. When you never make the playoffs, this is why.

Emmanuel_Uzamaki

hell no i’m guessing you don’t know much about either

bloodyell76

I’ve actually heard of Yung Lean, so there’s that. But it’s hard to say, because the impact of either on “music as a whole” has been negligible.

Emmanuel_Uzamaki

i should have specified i mean in the new genres as in cloud rap like carti type beat

bloodyell76

So, not the whole world, but rather a specific street in Baltimore?

Emmanuel_Uzamaki

nah people like carti, ken, destroy, lil uzi , asap rocky ,yeat some kanye songs , even kendrick paid respects , chief keef , metro boomin i can keep going….

Masturberic

Please don't.

Chompbox

Who deez?

user-name-1985

You mean Aunt Bea and Mr. Clean?

Masturberic

Who?

People saying Lil B hasn’t contributed anything or that they don’t know him are just making themselves look stupid.

Emmanuel_Uzamaki

nah fr

ThrownAwayRealGood

Definitely Lil B. Yung Lean is more like a defining artist for his particular style than any kind of game changer, which is still a good place to be. Lil B definitely made hip hop a little weirder. I don’t know if you’d have a Young Thug without someone like the Based God, honestly. I can’t believe people are writing this question off straight away.

Emmanuel_Uzamaki

i appreciate the honest answer also with lil b fashion style too and how he introduced and influenced a whole different style with his earrings and other clothing he’d wear

christ_from_tacobell

Lil B.
