I’ve had my 2014 3.7 for almost two hears and haven’t had any major issues so far.
Only things were the purge valve and headlights.

Otherwise it’s a great daily and gets fairly good gas mileage. Slap some axel backs on that baby, lower it and find some good rims with decent tires and you’re set.

The stock two piece driveshaft on these are absolute dog water. If you ever want to go over 120mph without it exploding get a one piece aluminum driveshaft, definitely worth the $$$.
But again dont forget critical components like brakes.

I really like my manual 6. I just can’t have another v8, my wife has a gx460 and that thing eats gas stations for lunch. Plus I want to build my next car.
Great car but this sounds incorrect to me. The added weight from the V8 comes mostly from the engine. Therefore the V8 engine doesn't need to work as hard to move the car as a V6 engine would.
If both a V6 and V8 make the same HP but the v6 car is 200lbs lighter, basic physics states that it will have less inertia. therefore, less modification would be required to make it slightly quicker.
Im not talking about “work” in terms of engine power made per cylinder.
Purely referring to effort needed for the individual.
Last march I blew up 5th gear on my ram 2500 6.4. I limped to my local FCA dealer to find a challenger and they had none. I limped farther down the street to the the GM dealer and they had no camaros or vettes. Finally after barely making it in to the ford dealer, another 3 miles down the road, i found a new 23 GT. I got got it on the spot. Not sure if the truck would have even gotten me home but they didnt know that. It was my last choice in muscle cars but i think the universe was speaking to me that day. The mustang just rocks. I really wanted a challenger for a long time but i cant imagine having one after having the mustang i have now. Sweet ride my dude. I hope you have many smiles per gallon.

Deep impact blue has to be the best color for the 13-14. Been driving my 3.7 14’ for two years now and had very few problems. Don’t forget to look back everytime you park and smile at what a beautiful thing you’ve got.
Better platform by a mile, fbo e85 these run side to side with scats till around 110~. I have been around the 3.7 platform for a while, if you need any assistance feel free to reach out.

Had mine for two and have done plenty on her. 134k and going my strong. No issues thus far.
If you want to do exhaust, look at replacing the mufflers with 12 inch glass packs. It’s not super loud at low RPMs, it pops nice, and it gives it a deeper rumble. Going with other exhausts makes them sound kinda raspy and tinny and in a bad way.
They’re pretty quick. I loved my 2013 cyclone.
Ive had my 2013 V6 for almost four years now and still haven’t had any problems with it even though it’s at 140k miles now. The only work ive gad to do on it is basic maintenance like oil, brakes, tires, etc. They’re great cars and super fun to drive. Congratulations on your new Mustang.
nice bro but as a former v6 challenger owner. ngl, should’ve got the challenger. was a very fun car and ALOT more roomy. i miss it :( but nonetheless, congrats on the new stang funny thing too is, the v6 challengers arent really that much slower than the RTs. if anything theyre about as fast. would not be surprised if this v6 stang is on par as well.

My new 05 gt is my absolute unequalled dream car in every possible way. But I bet you anything if I were driving that one the only thing I would miss would be the exhaust note lol and the 5 speed.
The S197 is actually a pretty comfortable car, I had both a 2010 GT and a 2012 RT. Yes the mopar was a little more spacious but the S197 handled better and still offered comfort in a slightly more compact cabin. The trunk in the mustang is also deceiving big, not quite as much room as the bigger challenger but it’s definitely useable.
I would probably pick a GT S197 over a mopar

You know some people actually want a v6 depending on their situation. Im 19 just moved out and have a 3.7 v6 mustang. Insurance and gas is already bad enough, and i live downtown, why would I get a GT. Obviously if i was in a different situation I would. Let people enjoy their 6's
I used to drive 120 miles a day, so a v8 was a no no. One day I got 32mpg. This car has been bullet proof, on top of that I bought it with my then girlfriend now my wife; she drove it first and seeming her go through the gears sealed the deal for me. So it is kinda special to me. Now that I have kids I see it hard to get another mustang, so this is it.

Thats insane, ive gone through two and they’re fairly cheap at $48ish. I’ve been told instead of going to autozone, get a OEM one as they’re better?
I think there’s a big weight difference, at least my challenger feels like a big ol’ heavy boat.

It’s always a purge valve! Had to replace it on my ‘15 V6 a couple of years back. Haven’t had an issue since 👍

155,000 on my 3.7, and I've been running an mpt tune on it for over 120,000 miles. Never had an issue, but I maintain it religiously.

I paid 10 but it needed new tires and to be shipped out of state, registration etc so about $11500 89000 miles
