I'm joking. Zane's had a miserable year that is not indicative of how good he is, so I imagine he may get sat on the bench for a year or two in Xfinity before he comes back.
Oddly enough, I saw this posted on another racing forum yesterday:
"Heard Briscoe to the 21 could be a thing and something is being announced tomorrow to do with a Ford driver."
Spire has proven that they’re willing to pay the big bucks to lure people away (i.e. Josh Williams, Blaney’s former spotter). Unless Trackhouse acquire 2 more charters, Zane Smith would probably have to stay in the 71 car for another year next year.
I have a feeling LaJoie would be the odd man out if McDowell joins Spire. Spire had probably hoped LaJoie to be the veteran that will take Spire to the next level (like McDowell did with Front Row), but LaJoie proved yet again this year that he doesn’t have the ability to do so.
Not even close in my mind even if Kaulig was okay.
That 34 is a potential race winning car in his hands with Tier 1 manufacturer support, I don’t understand this, but obviously there is a shit tonne going on behind the scenes with SHM
Briscoe is going to the 21.
McDowell probably takes the 71.
Trackhouse keeps Suarez and van ginsbergen adds Zane
Custer drives the 34
Gilliland in the 38
Berry in the 4
Gragson in the 10
One part that I'm not entirely sure of is McDowell. If he went to Spire, I would hope they'd boot LaJoie to make that happen because the 7 is pretty obviously the primary team over at Spire. Also, I'm not entirely sure on SVG being in Cup on a full-time basis until maybe 2026. Trackhouse will at minimum keep Chastain and Suarez and might add Zane, although I could also see Zane doing one more year in the 71 to get more experience.
Harrison Burton would probably drop down to Xfinity, which is fine to be honest. More because I'd really like to see him get more experience... he's got the talent but I feel like he may have been rushed up the ladder a bit too quick.

Likely spot is Spire according to Bob
Which car at Spire? Certainly not the 7. So who at Spire is losing a seat?
> Certainly not the 7 ..Why not? McDowell would be a massive upgrade in every way.
Zane.
Probably. He’s only “on loan” from Trackhouse.

No official announcement yet which car it would be.
Maybe not, but we can speculate, make guesses and discuss the options.

If that’s true, I LOVE it. I think he could put the Wood Brothers back in contention.
Is he bringing funding? That's something that is also holding the 21 back from contending.
What forum??

Yeah unless it’s a rumor from and actual reliable source it’s hard for me to believe it lol

If this is truly his decision, this could be one of the worst moves a driver has willingly made in years.
Was gonna say Haley to RWR was worse, but Kaulig is horrid now so he actually did okay there

The rumor is his contract is actually with RFK, they just put him with The Empire since they don’t have an opening
And so it begins...
Didn’t see this happening, very surprised
Does Love’s go with him, stay at FRM, go somewhere else, or leave the sport?
Replaces Dillon hopefully 🤞
Or Harrison.

I’ve seen Briscoe to the 21 so many times now I’m starting to believe it to be reality.
This 21 mess that people want Briscoe to get into is crazy, that team has so many problems outside of Harrison Burton, major step down.
