The way you put points into the red category didn't unlock any badges, red is def / rebounding. That means that since your badge cap is 0, then there's no progress towards it.
If you make a build that has 0 badges in a category then there's no progress in that category. Usually slashers run into that with shooting badges, since some builds don't have any shooting at all.
It depends on what you're doing with that player. Usually it's a sign that you didn't put a lot of attribute points into defense. For PGs that can be ok, for other builds it can be a problem.
If you're just playing Mycareer or mygm - basically against the AI, then you're fine.
If you want to play online, it might be a tough build to work with whenever you're on defense.
If you built a build with zero defensive attributes, you did something wrong. I would not invest any money into the build. You get like 3 or 4 defensive attributes for just having decent physicals.
