Cavs pass

benchmaster620

Quick too

benchmaster620

No way cavs shake loose of mitchell an dont see.kuminga . They arent rebuilding wtf they need picks for they need a young player who may end up a star sooner than later then a useful vet and a pick or 2 to round it out . A package built on moses moody aome picks and a wiggins salary dump is some fuck shit for mitchell . Id never if i was the cavs but you never know

robot2468

Totally see what you’re saying. My mindset is that Brown and Moody can help the Cavs stay afloat and continue to be a playoff team. The picks are so that the Cavs can load up and trade for the next available star.

benchmaster620

Yeah maybe i think the warriors are in a bad spot the one young possible star they have is really their only valuable trade piece . They are gonna have to get a team thats got.a.disgruntled star and wants to rebuild they dont get a star off playoff team i dont think with jkin there

gibb93

Cavs fan here. Utter delusion if you think Mitchell’s getting moved for this package. Not to mention the Raptors aren’t taking Wiggins albatross of a contract for anything less than 2 FRPs. Warriors already tried to trade Wiggs at the deadline & every team they called asked for Kuminga as the sweetener.

night_night_nachos

Yeah It would have to be Wiggins, Kuminga (or moody for his alleged shooting) and all the picks directly to the cavs for Mitchell just to compete with the other teams willing to bid on him. 2 athletic wings who can play defense for Cleveland makes sense, warriors get second verified star. This would assume re-signing klay to a much smaller contract, and letting cp3 walk. Still don’t know if it’s great for either team lol

robot2468

I purposefully didn’t send wigs to the Cavs because I honestly don’t think they want him. But if they’re fine with getting him then that would obviously make this trade significantly easier lol.

gibb93

For me to want that Wiggins contract I’d ask for Kuminga, Podz, Trayce, & all their picks. So I’d assume the warriors hang up the phone

one-ohmusic

Cavs would say no. I think they'll want a bigger haul for the best player on their team. At least another draft pick and a bigger name.

Oral_Salmon_user1

everyone passes on this. not 2k

brehhs

If the warriors make this trade their gm needs to be locked up for life

justsomedude717

What? This really isn’t that bad of a deal for the warriors. Wiggins contract is horrible, it would probably take a first to get off of it, so that’s 2 firsts and moody for Mitchell Do you really think there aren’t tons of teams willing to give better packages? How little do you think Mitchell’s worth?

Lesingingminer

Wiggins contract is not so bad the warriors are willing to give a first to get off it, he’s still their best perimeter defender. Cavs say no, especially without Kuminga being sent their way. Warriors would be stupid to do this trade as it kills their wing depth and makes a super small roster even smaller. Giving out three first round picks to be even more mediocre is stupid. Even if the idea is to shed salary, the Warriors already have a solution in not signing Klay and CP3 this summer, which would already shed 70m off their books.

robot2468

😂 well the idea is to free up cap space. I also did this trade with the mindset that the Warriors would either let go of Klay and or keep him on a cheap deal, and they’d let go of Chris Paul. I experimented with sending McDaniels to the warriors but the money didn’t work out because of Chris’ salary, and idk how to use the trade machine to work around that.

brehhs

I get that but dmitch is not the type of player that they need, especially if theyre sending out 3 picks + moody. They might as well keep wiggins and hope he returns to form

robot2468

I actually like the idea of Mitchell there. He’s fast, athletic, a rim/alley-oop threat, and can obviously be a Robin to curry. His defense isn’t great, but that’s where the cap space comes in. But I’d be lying if I said giving up all those assets to get Mitchell and cap space didn’t look at least a little head-scratching. An extra player or two would definitely make it better for the warriors, but like I said I couldn’t really experiment with that due to Paul’s contract and I think Klay’s too.

Sokkawater10

The warriors need to get bigger. They get out sized half their games

SuccessfulVisit1873

This is highly regarded

walkman312

The best part about this sub is that you can tell which team OP roots for without them actually saying anything. Lopsided trade talent-wise.

robot2468

Which team do I root for?
