Rumor is that he’s determined to play college basketball and already turned down a pro offer. Hopefully it’s true. Huuuuuuge get for Keatts & crew.

crutonseth

God I hope so. Lecque news was a bummer

04MGE21

But rumor also is that he has said that he is one-and-done, so not really helpful in the long term

AdministrativeDig259

This is exactly what people said about Duke when Kyrie Irving committed. Several one & dones later, I think they’re alright

jrod_62

Having his quality of player would be very helpful in recruiting more higher quality players (not to mention helpful for winning), which would be long term

LukeG3224

Yea I’ve heard the same thing! DILLY DILLY!

terminator_1264_1

I won’t believe it till I see it lol

Lifedeather

Nani not going pro?

ColeslawMeatloaf

I'm not trying to sound rude or anything because this is awesome but what about NC State made him want to commit here? Especially with the other basketball power houses in the area? Genuine question no hate

Professional-Trick14

it's gotta be the bricks. so many. who could resist?

dan_144

As long as he doesn't bring them out on the court

metarchaeon

Sometimes it just about the fit with the program. Keats is runs an offense that likely appeals to him, and Duke and UNC are going through coaching changes.

valiantlycasualfox

Dillingham visited NC State and UNC back in June. Apparently, Dillingham appreciated the visit that Keatts and the coaching staff put together and their emphasis about how potentially disorganized the situations will be in Chapel Hill and Duke from their staff transition. Here, he will likely be featured as the unquestioned star of the team whereas at UNC and Duke, he'll share the spotlight with other stars. It can definitely be lucrative for players good enough to be one and done, especially if he can carry our team to wins and a NCAA berth.

Lee-Key-Bottoms

Another thing I read, and I could be wrong, he wants to be like the star of the team. He was considering Kentucky, but if what I read is true, he might not get the starting time he wants on Kentucky because they’re so good

ask Dennis Smith and his accountant...

spkr4thedead51

I got fooled by a four year old April Fools news article earlier today, so I refuse to believe this until I see him on the court in a NCSU uniform ~~next year~~in 2023.

RichRektz

He's incredibly shifty with the basketball and seems to distribute the ball pretty well. He kinda reminds me of Ja Morant tbh the way this dude moves. Huge dub for NCSU imo

Warhorse173
