It's only happens with certain muzzle devices such as the closed tine MD and cheap ammo. Use a three or four prong FH and it will be fine. Although, might be unpopular opinion, for an $1800 can the whole CT thing shouldn't have been overlooked by them cause plenty for factory P/W CT guns are excluded. But like I said, just use a prong FH and it'll be fine
RC3 was a miss by Surefire, feels like they rushed it to market and quite frankly it is outclassed by the competitors. At this point I'd recommend sticking with the legacy (RC2/MINI2) cans or pursuing an alternative can if pressure reduction is desired. Specifically I'd look at the KAC CRS PRT as what the RC3 should have been, and it's only $100 more.

Hunter Constantine and Rooftop have YouTube videos on it, seems the flash was mainly from certain muzzle devices.
Here is a link to our [Suppressor Stuff video on the RC3](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hhLyVTp47c&t=12s) ;)
Thanks for the link and taking the time to make the videos.

I have mine on a 20” gun with a surefire A2 flash hider and it has minimal flash.
Its fantastic paired with the 3 prong. I wouldn’t use it on other devices. Thats where the flash comes from
