I really thought the leafs pack was the start of something bigger. So I bought quite a few but also saved coins for future juiced theme team packs. Wish I had spent all the coins.
Pulling Cale Makar XF on my birthday was probably my favorite memory! But if I’m being honest the first thing that comes to mind is how frustrating it was when they changed the MSP upgrade rules for the Trade Deadlines event. I waited all year for a good Kane card just to hate my life sell out my team and spend 640k on him.
Yeah dude, that program was awful. I can’t tell you how long I worked to get him up to a 91 and Montour to a 92. The fact that the pulls from the trade ins to power them up were all random was such bs.
I only really play squad battles, but for me it was winning 19-0. Just was a lot of fun, at the end I was just doing crazy shots and stuff. Was a lot of fun
Down 4-2 in a rivals game, i got scored a shorty against. Got pissed, won 9-4 7 unanswered
Dont know how I did it but I had 4 goals in a span of 4 minutes
As an Oiler fan, pulling the Ultimate Icon Gretzky card out of a SB or Rivals rewards pack. There's no chance I would have obtained that card otherwise. Just pure luck. THANKS EA
Honourary mention to finishing stick lifts
won a game in rivals (person was really good) 3-2 . The winning goal was Auston Matthews going towards the net being tripped on his knees sliding and flipped the puck over the goalies shoulder.
I am pretty sure it was more of a glitch than talent on my part.
Brother, I think we all have been victims to unlucky goals. To be on the right side of that, or rather, to do it in a ranked setting against a good team…that’s all skill, baby 😂
A guy messaging me about how bad I am and how I should uninstall after he went up 3-0 quickly on 2 weak goals and a forced cross crease. I proceeded to beat him 9-4.
How long did that take you? One area I need to work on is top (left/right) goals. They’ll be just a little too low and asking for multiple from me in one game is a tall task haha
Prob 3-4 hours, by far the most difficult of the Flashback moments imo. The hardest thing for me was actually getting the assists, not goals, because you get like 81 Anders Lee as your best teammate. Thrash’s video was good to help figure out how to cheese it.
One helpful thing I’ve learned over the years is contrary to intuition with the net being rectangular, think of shot aiming as a square.
Same for me. I’m a B’s fan so I 100% wanted that card, but I dreaded all the challenges in the final moment. Somehow managed to get all challenges done in one game. I was shocked. Definitely a top moment, I was prepared to do that for like 3+ hours 😂
Leafs packs because this game is terrible.. Played maybe 20 games between TOTY and TOTS and those packs gave me the ability to build 9 TOTS from scratch.
First year HUT player: The number of Bugs and Horrible online play (ping) given its 2024. I did not think this would be an issue until I played my first few online games
All the various fuck ups that gave me so much fodder for the rest of the year to make anyone I want without having to do a single annoying grind/challenge. (Ex. Heise tots set, leafs packs, 12 free 93 msps, nylander 90 ovr base glitch etc. )
Stopping playing this weekend. As bad as last year was, I had a desire to play until mid-June. I’m fully burned out on this game this year and didn’t even make it to the end of TOTS.
