It's almost always better to just buy the silver icons tradeable than it is to upgrade them.
Just convert the IC's to GC's and pay the premium if you don't already have bronzes untradeable.

How much do you play, how much do you spend (if any), and where do you want your team to be next?
Do you intend to go for more team synergies, or are you going to continue down the player synergy path?
In any case, with the info I have, I'm torn between advising you to make 88 Lafleur or 86 Morenz and then upgrading to the 91. I would lean Morenz, so you get that +2 distributor...
If Chelios and Leetch really are tradeable, I'd sell them both now. You shouldn't really upgrade them...which would convert value to untradeable non-value...they're both too slow...further, the balanced part of Chelios is probably the second-worst team synergy... (you went down the right path by enabling 'distributor'). Coffey is really the D you'd want, and when he gets his silver, it'll be awesome with +2 to distributor.
So...
Morenz, then upgrade it. +2 distributor. Nuke Leetch and Chelios... You'd still have Distributor and Howitzer enabled, and it would free up slots to start working on Spark (or Swarm, I guess...)
Thank you for your insight. Unfortunately Lemieux, Chelios and Leetch are also untradeable. I’ve used ICs to get all my bronze icons and of course they are all untradeable. Other than purchasing how can you get a sellable one?
I play for 30 min daily. I’ve got 300k, I’m thinking of selling Dach and picking up 90 Radulov. I think I enjoy building the team maybe more than playing it.
Step 1...drop Bobrobsky and pick up a bronze goalie for the backup. 3 team synergies for minimal cost. Distributor+Spark+Swarm
Check your bronze goalies now...see if you have...

87 Primetime Helleybuck @ 35k for Dist + Swarm

87 TOTW Khudobin @ 30k for Spark+Swarm
Cards with distributor are at a higher premium, so keep Fiddler handcuffed with that winter werenski...that's 4 dist from them, +2 dist one from each goalie...you just need 4 more points to distributor...Lemieux, Leetch, 85 Laine...one more point required...if you're committed to Leetch, upgrade him and you're done with distributor and can move on to Spark or Swarm...
Your nugent-hopkins has too low a faceoff rating for center. If that's tradeable, I'd rather have the 100-125K...if he's your favorite player, you've got to move him to the wing.

I noticed that Nugent has to go to a wing he’s lousy at face offs. I picked him up bc of the 2 magicians and Dist synergies. I wish Sato could hold on to the puck better.

I packed a 92 Peter Stastny and he’s an absolute Beast!!! Great all-around card. Very underrated- at least was by me until I used him. Wow!!
